  1. I had to cancel a wedding and a Dj shoot for the same wedding today because they dont want to pay me what I want, that is what not having boss can do, I can say NO to projects that wont give me profit.

  5. It’s also not necessarily the amount you make it’s all about compounding and doubling your earnings year after year regardless of how much a person makes so well done Jack for doubling your earnings COD working in a job is near enough impossible to do that regardless of how much value a person provides at their job! 😊👍🏿

  7. Hey Jack, I owe you a gigantic thank you.
I binged your videos on freelance video editing and how to get jobs for it on UpWork. I realized that I actually have the credentials… my channel has 54k subscribers and I've uploaded over 100 videos. So, I made a video editing portfolio on my website, applied to about 30 jobs on UpWork, and I scored one with an incredible client who's letting me do my thing. The first video I edited for them has gotten over 600k views in less than a week. The client loves my style, and there's a ton of comments on the video from viewers saying how much they like the editing! Since then I've done two other edits for them that they like!
So thanks for kicking my butt to start doing this. I want to keep at it and try to get more clients… cause I really like video editing and the idea of going full time remote video editing sounds really amazing, but the money has to make sense… It would be cool to find more "dream" clients like this one that I'm super lucky to have found, haha.

  8. New subscriber here, I just installed da vinci resolve using the help of your video.
Im here checking your other videos, just love your charisma and your friendliness ✌️

  9. I'd say COVID has had an enormously revealingly paradigm shift in that one of two things have happened with all the "work from home" types.

1.) Companies are realizing they can get away with having most of the work force at home and there's no need for increased over head costs keeping them in the office.
2.) Tons of people are realizing, "Well darn I could've been doing this from home the entire time? I'll just look for a company that does allow me to do that".

I will say that it definitely takes a certain type of personality and energy to be totally independent from home. Alot of buddies I have found out real quick when COVID hit that they "needed" someone telling them what to do all the time or they just wouldn't do it. Nothing wrong with that, but for me, if I can afford to make mad bank slamming 5-6 hours straight than having the rest of the day to chill in my pajamas….why wouldn't I?

Good points all around agree with every pro and con.
