Dear Holy Spirit, please continue to be my daily guide and help to walk the talk to become like our Savior Christ Jesus, Amen. God bless your Soul Papa Spurgeon ππ½, and bless your heart Pastor Gavin for always sharing these undiluted messages with us ππ½β€οΈ.
Unfortunately the school masters of today are full of woke nonsense afraid to mention anything Godly, Iβm praying that good will overcome the evils of this world. Praise God.
"Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me" [Ps 51v10] "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come" [2 Cor 5v17]
These dear sermons come to us because God keeps His Word. He makes me to lie down in green lush pastures of His holy Word β€οΈβ€οΈπ Psalm 23. The Lord is my Shepherd and my exceedingly great reward π
When he said, βIf we say, we must walk,β that line convicted me deeply.
It pierced my heart in a way I did not expect. It reminded me that faith is not just something we speak about β it is something we live out. If we say we believe, then our actions should reflect that belief. If we declare our trust in God, then our daily choices, attitudes, and behavior must align with His Word.
Those simple words challenged me to examine myself honestly. Am I only speaking about faith, or am I truly walking in obedience? Am I just confessing with my lips, or am I surrendering with my life?
That statement awakened a deeper awareness in me. It called me to greater integrity β to live consistently, to practice what I profess, and to let my walk match my words. It reminded me that following Christ is not about empty declarations, but about a transformed life that reflects Him in every step.
It was a loving conviction, one that pushes me to grow, to mature spiritually, and to walk more faithfully in the path God has set before me.
I so love this sermon about the very meaning and definition and longing and actuality of what it is we believe and profess by testimonies of deed and words- of what it is to be His.
I would have never heard this understanding of Spurgeon's articulated like in this sermon had you not taken the time to spoon it out to me. No one preaches (THIS) anymore!
Thank you brother, and pray that we (All who now live) feed others too- faithfully so.
Could anyone that sees this please pray for me for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was a child? I don't know what caused it but it has followed me since I was very young specifically influencing people to do terrible things to me to try to push me toward deep unforgiveness. It succeeded at doing so for most of my life until God began delivering me from unforgiveness and, subsequently, this warfare this year. However, certain problems still persist and Satan is continually trying to flare these attacks back up especially at certain times in my life. There is a group of people who have been targeting me under the influence of this warfare for years and while their behavior has improved somewhat as God has delivered me from all these things I've mentioned, their harassing restarts every time Satan starts attacking me again. Satan is also attacking me more the more progress God makes in my life when it comes to all these things. Please pray for me about all this and for the removal of this group of people from my life, as reconciliation no longer seems to be an option after certain events have taken place. Please pray for an end to their targeting me. Thank you.
Colossians 1:18. "And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence"
