Considering that Eddie Long specifically chose teenagers as secret lovers, I think there was more to his hypocrisy than just the pain incurred by refusing to live authentically. Why do I say this? A man who simply lived in a tragic type of hypocrisy could very well have arranged clandestine hookups with ADULTS while on vacation someplace far away. (Catholic clergymen are far more likely to misuse sabbaticals in this fashion than to commit pedophilia.)
