  1. And scripture tells that Yeshua wasn't born dec 25 and specifically gives the information in the telling of ZacharYah temple service at time of dedication (Chanukah) the angel told him Elisabeit conception and at her 6th month pregnant Maryams conception and 9 count months to Sukkot/Tabernacle's. So this man shows his ignorance of the Word that says Yeshua birth was at Sukkot/Tabernacle's which is a fall feast not dec 25 Babylonian pagan worship of sun god

  2. BLOTTING OUT OF THE HANDWRITING OF ORDINANCES : COLOSSIANS 2:14-16

    Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days
17  Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ

    SUMMARY
'Shadows' point to a coming future event. So the MEAT, DRINK, NEW MOON, SABBATH DAYS offerings and sacrifices all pointed to the coming of the Messiah. Once he came and died, those Shadows (Sacrifices) had served their purposes, and were now of no more use.

Jews were not to judge and accuse one another if they didn't abide by those Old Testament Sacrificial Laws anymore, because they had been cancelled by Christ, as his BODY, representative of the Lamb animal, hung on the cross (alter).

    For proof, consider the following

    1. ORDINANCES: WERE SACRIFICES

    Numbers 9:12-14 (Ordinance of Passover [ Leviticus 23:9] )

Numbers 19:2 This is the "Ordinance" of the law which the Lord hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a RED HEIFER without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:

    2. JUDGING IN MEAT, DRINK, SABBATHS, NEW MOONS (Colossians 2:16)

Leviticus 23:37 These are the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord, a burnt offering, and a MEAT offering, a sacrifice, and DRINK offerings, every thing upon his day:

38 Beside the SABBATHS of the Lord, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto the Lord.

    THE DRINK OFFERING

Numbers 15:5 and you shall prepare wine for the drink offering, one-fourth of a hin, with the burnt offering or for the sacrifice, for each lamb

    THE MEAT OFFERINGS
    ◇ Passover [ Leviticus 23:5 ]
The 14th day of the First Month.

    ◇ Feast of Unleavened Bread
The 15th day of the First Month
    [ Leviticus 23:6-8 ]

    ◇ Offering Of Firstfruits
    [ Leviticus 23:9-14 ]

    ◇ Festival Of Weeks
    [ Leviticus 23:15-22 ]

    THE 'SABBATHS' OF COLOSSIANS
    ◇ Festival Of Trumpets
On the 7th month, the first day of that month ( regardless if it fell on a Sunday – Friday) was to be treated as a Sabbath
    [ Leviticus 23:24-25 ]

This was in addition to the Seventh Day Sabbath.

    ◇ Day Of Atonement
On the 7th month, the evening of the 9th day till the 10th day shall be treated as a Sabbath
    [ Leviticus 23: 27-32 ]

This was in addition to the Seventh Day Sabbath.

    ◇ Feast Of Tabernacles
▪On the 7th month, the 15th day shall be treated as a Sabbath.
    [ Leviticus 23: 34-39 ]

▪On the 7th month, the 22nd day shall be treated as a Sabbath.
    [ Leviticus 23:39-41 ]

These two Sabbaths were in addition to the Seventh Day Sabbath.

Note: Each of these abnormal Sabbath days, when taken as a whole, were referred to as 'Sabbaths' in Colossians 2:16.

These 'Special Sabbaths' occurred various times each year.

    NEW MOON
Ezekiel 46:6 And in the day of the new moon it shall be a young bullock without blemish, and six lambs, and a ram: they shall be without blemish.

    CONCLUSION

    1. Do you see the word "Ordinances" in COLOSSIANS 2:14?

Numbers 19:2 explains that an "Ordinance" was a Sacrifice!!!!

Therefore Colossians 2:14-16 is specifically talking about the various Sacrifices, offerings of Meat and Drink, and those abnormal Sabbaths were going to be Blotted out (removed), and done away with. And Leviticus 23 is speaking about those Sacrifices and offerings referenced in COLOSSIANS. Those abnormal Sabbath Festivals were no longer needed either, once Christ died on the cross.,

This makes sense, because why would Christians need to continue sacrificing animals, when the true Lamb of God was sacrificed. There was no more reason for animal sacrifices, which is why you don't offer a lamb for your sins today!

    2. THE PASSOVER FEAST
Exodus 12:1-11 These verses detail that a Lamb was to be slain for the Feast of Passover. It was to be eaten with unleavened bread, and with bitter herbs.

Numbers 9:12  They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor BREAK any BONE of it: according to all the ORDINANCES of the PASSOVER they shall keep it.

These verses shows that the lamb used during the Ordinance of Passover was not to have its bones broken. This was symbolic of showing that Christ (Sacrificial Lamb) would not have any of his bones BROKEN while he hung on the cross!!

PSALM 34:20  He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

John 19:36 For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.

As you see, The Feast of PASSOVER was a Shadow which pointed to Christ dying on the cross. This was the Shadow spoken of in COLOSSIANS 2:14-17

    CONCLUSION
Therefore if anyone tells you that this means that God's Ten Commandments were done away, or the weekly Sabbath, they are seriously mistaken.

  3. WRONG ! ..The statements in this video are not supported by the bible..I have a lot of respect for Cliffe Knechtle and enjoy his other videos but he is simply wrong on the Sabbath topic. He's a great debator but clearly he is not a bible scholar. There is NO commandment in the bible to worship on Sunday. Jesus and his apostles never worhshipped on Sunday, "the pagan venerable day of the Sun". Sunday is strictly a man-made institution created by the Roman Catholic Church who readily admit this in their Chatechisms. Catholics say the majority of Christendom keep Sunday as their day of worship to pay homage to the power of the Roman Apostolic Church who believe (erroneously) that they have the authority to change times and laws.
The 10 Commandments were not nailed to the cross. Jesus overserved the 7th Day Sabbath and so should we. Once Jesus died on the Christ and said it is finished, the 2nd covenant was ratified by his blood. Once the 2nd covenant (contract) was ratified by Christ's blood, nothing can be added or taken away from this covenant. Sunday keeping was added about a 100 to 150 years or so later with no scriptural authority. If Jesus wanted us to change the Saturday Sabbath to Sunday, dont you think he would have said so? But he never that. There is simply no command in the bible to worship on Sunday or celebrate pagan holidays like Easter Sunday or Christmas. 😮

  4. Isaiah 58:13-14
“If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath
and from doing as you please on my holy day,
if you call the Sabbath a delight
and the Lord’s holy day honorable,
and if you honor it by not going your own way
and not doing as you please or speaking idle words,
14 then you will find your joy in the Lord,
and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights of the land
and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob.”
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

Nowhere did God call any other day holy. Not Sunday, not Monday, not Tuesday….etc. except Sabbath (Friday sunset to Saturday sunset).

    Isaiah 66:23
And it shall be that from New Moon to New Moon And from Sabbath to Sabbath, All mankind will come to bow down and worship before Me,” says the LORD.

What day does God say to bow before him and worship him? On Sabbath. Not Sunday, not Monday not Tuesday or any other day.

Nowhere in the scriptures did God do away with his holy day. Malachi 3:7. God does not change. He's the same yesterday, today and forever.

Read Ezekiel 8. Professed followers of God are found worshipping the sun. Where do you think the day, Sunday, comes from?

  5. If ye love me keep my commandments this is the messiah supporting the almighty john 12:49 messiah was sent to make clear what the enemy and his angels are confusing rejecting and teaching men to do so! This man twist Paul's words to his own destruction

  6. Be reminded that appostles and Jesus were worshipping on Sabbath but not Sunday. Paul in Colossians continue to encourage christians in Colossia to constantly focus on Jesus who is the head of the church (singular) that keeps God's commandments including Sabbath keeping..

  7. Let me share to all the book "Bible Sabbath – a Study (Jesus Christ the Sabbath Rest).
The idea of Sabbath as a day is a stumbling block for those who have eyes but not see and ears but not hear.  When you look at 10 commandments, the creation in six days with 7th day as rest, it points to Jesus as the center of all things being the creator Himself, who is holy. Every time the good work of the Lord is done, He is glorified any day because Jesus who is the Sabbath is glorified.  Jesus is the bridge between the Father and mankind. No one comes to the Father but by Me He says in John 14:6.  The two great commandments are "Love God above all and love your neighbor as yourself" is revealed in Matt 22:36 to 40 (also Luke 10:25 to 29). But no matter how you try to do these, you can not justify yourself to God, unless Jesus intercedes for you to the Father.  The 4th commandment, which is Jesus, is the bridge to the first 3 commandments regarding our relationship to God and the other 6 regarding our relationship to each other.  The 10 commandments is a figure of the cross – first 3 points to heaven above where God dwells and the last six are attached to the ground because man is of the earth.  The 4th is Jesus with stretch arms who died for you in order that your sins are atoned and are reconciled fully back to God the Father.  Counting from the last commandment at the bottom towards the top upwards makes the 4th, the 7th, which is the holy commandment – Jesus the Holy one.  That is why Jesus on the cross is the end of the law for righteousness. Jesus offers Himself as He says in Matt 11:25 to 30, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Blessings to those who have the eyes that see and ears that hear.

  8. It’s sad that none seem to understand what it is to worship God. They think it is something man does on a particular day in particular place with pomp and ceremony. Worship is reverence. It is to esteem and adore. God calls us to live unto Him. Show our love for Him in how we do all things.

  9. I don't think so bc Jesus started the Sunday gathering tradition himself after his resurrection so I would think they would have continued this as it was all Jews there on the first Sunday gathering….

  10. So, in other words, what he's saying is Paul taught the Christians to break God's law, more precisely, the 4th commandment. Such confusion! And he's passing it on to others. 🤕

    1 John 2:4

[4] He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

  11. People love to tell you what Paul said-

    2 Peter 3:16
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

  12. They GATHERED on Sundays, they still kept the sabbath on Saturday. Why would Jesus have said about the endtimes "I pray you dont have to flee on the sabbath" if the sabbath was not to be kept anymore?

  13. The scripture he uses to justify any day to worship, he’s not using it in the context that it is written. Paul is writing to new gentile converts that started obeying Gods commandments so don’t let your non Christian friends judge you.

  14. It really does not matter what day you or I decide to arbitrarily consider holy and worship Him on.
What matters is what the Bible says. The Bible says that God made the 7th day of the week (Saturday) holy. Plain and simple. Nothing subjective there.

  15. God sanctified you from your sin for ever and ever. Otherwise you are a sinner. And you will die in your sin. Instead of sacrifice, Yeshua sacrified on Abib 14 and so you need not sacrifice any sheep hereafter as God promised through Daniel.

  16. The disciples went all over the world to spread the Gospel.

    Why?? Because they worshipped idols.

And what day did they preach?? Paul stated that he observed the law of his ancestors, meaning the Ten Commandments, and Sunday is not included there!

ACTS 24:14  But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the LAW and in the Prophets:

Acts 19:27  So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great GODDESS DIANA should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom ALL Asia and the WORLD worshippeth.
28  And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians
