Zeus intentionally gave Pandora curiosity because it was Epimetheus was the owner of the box as it was given to him by his brother Prometheus for safe keeping and instructed him to never open it. Zeus wanted to punish humanity for Prometheus’s actions and sent Pandora, knowing her curiosity would lead to the box being opened. Releasing all the evils of the world, but also Hope.
Pandora=literall means "The whole package". Probably because she got all the gifts from the gifts Also, Athena gave Pandora fine silk robes, not Aphrodite.
