  1. There is a battle between our spirit wanting to be with our Creator and our body pulling us back down to our carnal body. This battle happens in the soul where the two meet. That is how I understand what this good solid peacher of our God's word is saying

  2. Pray for me please. I battle with the things I dont want to do, but end up doing. I am to put on the Armor of the Lord, weilding the Word against these things, but I fail. I fear that theses sins of mine may further corrupt and potentially destroy my life. I desire to love God and to obey Him, receiving all that He wants for me.

  3. @JesusisLordandking , please give your source. Obviously God has blessed Spurgeon's ministry over many generations and what he preached and taught agrees with any Berean search of the scriptures Acts17:11.

  4. Paul is talking about keeping the law OF HIMSELF. He does not have two natures doing battle. Of himself he tries to do good. In the end he is pooped, wretched. But we fail. The old nature has been crucified with Christ….. .In Romans 8 we overcome by the Spirit dwelling within.
