1. WALK IN POWER BY FAITH. Being baptized in the Holy Spirit, results in ability to speak in tongues.
You can be in sin and God will still use you to help someone else. However, you will often also have your own stuff that you won't be able to help yourself with. If you're conscious condemns you then you will have no confidence towards God. If you're in sin, you need to thank God that your conscious condemns you. If you're living in sin and your conscience doesn't bother you, that means your conscience has been seared which means that you won't even hear the Holy Spirit trying to convict you. That means that you have hardened your heart and literally cut off your only hope.
The things we do such as fasting and praying is not to get God to move, but to get ourselves out of the way of the things he wants to do in our lives.
21:20 1. SPIRITUAL HUNGER. An intense desire for The things of God and spiritual fulfillment of God's word in my life. (Not more of God.) Matthew 5:6 blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. Our response to being filled is a zeal for things of God. 1a. To create spiritual hunger is to increase your spiritual output. Just like with food, the more energy output that you have, the more energy input that you will need. The more you do the word of God in your life, the more you will desire the word of God in yourself. Start and end the day reading the Bible. Build an addiction/ craving for reading the Bible. 1b. Force yourself to do the things that you are not normally doing that you need to do to build spiritual power. Pray more often, study the word more often, witness more often, etc. until you develop the spiritual appetite that MUST be fed. Get to the point where there is not anything that you could be doing that is more important than growing spiritually through prayer, reading, witnessing, etc.
Consume the word.

Study: Go back over the part that you read and take it apart word by word, look up the definitions, write out the definitions, and then get a better understanding of that verse. c. 40:20 3. COMMUNION WITH GOD. 3a. Talking prayer. Pray about you desires, not needs. God already said he'd meet your needs. Talk about the end result of your desires. Pour your heart out to God, but eventually accept that God says, "Get over it and move on." 3b. Listening prayer. After you have finished praying, be quiet and listen to God's response. Know God's word to make sure you recognize his message to you. When your mind is renewed to the word of God and You realize that you have the mind of Christ and that the mind of Christ is now part of you, You don't even think, "Is that me or is that God?" because the answer is "yes." When you have the mind of Christ, it is you and God. 3c. Practice the presence of the spirit of God. When you go into a place, start thinking that this spirit of God is with you. Practice doing this to the extent that there will never be a time that you were not keenly aware of the presence of God and his spirit and his desire to move through you in that place.
