Marriage is what the Lord loves. We must pray for our marriages much before time. Specially mothers for their children. Must discern through spirit.Even I made mistakes therefore I am teaching my son through the word of God. God loves us . By Hs stripes we stand today. Praise be to His name.
It's so sad he was not able to hear from God and made poor decisions one after another when it comes to his marriage. Choosing ministry over marriage also makes an unhappy, frustrated wife. Unhappy wife, unhappy life. Home being a warzone is really scary. You can't lose your marriage and keep your ministry. That's a terrible failure.

Crazy! Nothing is new under the sun….. Wesley had many issues but if you know some basic psychology you'll find out that his wife most likely had NPD. There was no way Wesley could be a successful husband, but so amazing that he did not let that failure define him but rather let God use his pain for His glory.
Praise the Lord. Hearing John Wesley's life with his wife, gives me great hope. Was able to relate a lot. There are personal life failures which we don't want to talk about. I am also thankful in the Lord hat he acknowledged that he failed as a husband. It takes a humble heart to acknowledge their mistakes. Very thankful that this broken marriage still fueled him to fulfill his call. Very relatable. Thanks for sharing. His consistency is incredible as well with prayer, Bible reading and discipline.
