2 timothy 3:1-5 talks about perilous times in the last days. In 5 he states that men will have a form of godliness but deny it's power. Paul goes on to say that we should turn away from those people. The path truly is narrow. I pray for those who have been taught wrong. I never knew until I read the Bible for myself about these things.

Amen sister. The UMC has the flame around the cross because of the FIRE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. So happy to be soon confirmed under the UMC in a church that keeps the Holy Spirit alive.
The UMC is viewed by many Methodists as apostate now because of their abandonment of the scriptures stance on marriage and sexual immorality. There are other Methodists but the UMC experienced a schism where almost half of the members left. John Wesley Methodists and UMC a 2 different groups.
The way most modern Methodist Churches are today you'll never no that the early Methodist movement was of zealous,passionate people during worship and were into the supernatural like gifts of the spirit,casting out demons,healing and eat. Lord please bring it back.
