The UMC uses the bible to debunk the bible. The first thing I was taught in ministry school was never to allegorize the bible in making it say what I want. Evil is separation from God. The UMC is evil as it now embraces sin. Pride before the fall. UMC has missed the mark!
Because the Methodists have departed from the truth of God's Word. I was raised a Methodist and have Godly parents, that believe in the Bible's truth. However, I left some years ago, and joined a Reformed church, where God's Word is both believed and preached.
I was surprised to see LGBT rhetoric in the window of a Methodist Church while in New Hampshire, being from Ireland, the Methodist Church's I've been to can be quite mild, half empty and milky, but it sounds like the U.S fellowships from this tradition are extremely lost generally
I think I know the answer to your question, the reason why Methodism has become what it is today is that human culture never stays stagnant and new ideas are always popping up and changing.
There isn’t a single form of Christianity that exists today in the same form that it began as. Not even Catholics or Orthodoxy. It’s all changed with time.
I guess a question that I have for you would be what is really more important for you? To understand God and have a relationship with him on a personal level regardless of denomination or to hold onto, not the fundamental principles of Christianity but beliefs and traditions created over 1,500 years after the original inception of the faith? I see so many modern day Christians focus so much effort on who they should exclude or who doesn’t deserve to have a voice or be included in the faith. That’s not your decision to make. Only God can judge me in the end. Food for thought.
Asks how a first movement turns into this, then plays clips of people passionately, speaking about movement matters that they are first about. If you think John Wesley wouldn’t be speaking at town halls if born today…
Woow maan😮😳
Great vid though
I don’t understand what you are trying to say. I’m hoping it’s not as prejudice as I think it is

I wonder if your viewers can recognize how this substanceless video fails to address the arguments of the people is randomly clips out of context
Wesley would be rolling in his grave if he saw what has become of the Methodist tradition as well as Christendom at large.

Im really sad about this, cause John Wesley's theology is the closest to me
Maybe more akin to method-acting?
It’s unfortunate. That’s why Young Methodists for Tradition is working to fix this.

By his prayer and fasting
I read his letters and on his death bed he said evil had already gotten into the methodists
Aren't those churches called progressive churches and not Methodist churches
Yeah that’s why Reconquista (RZs movement) really needs to work. These mainline Protestant churches need some help
