Obviously, this tragic death does not delight me at all, it's really sad. But we need to remember that God is the only one in a position to give a righteous judgment.

Jakes was upset and disturbed about his statement and what he (Bishop Eddie Long) had the men doing. It was a totally disasters, because The Conference had to pay for some of those men to return to their designated homes. It was very disturbing and many Pastors were speaking about this in many churches. this gentlemen was on point. True repentance is to leave your gift at the altar and go back to the people/person and ask for forgiveness. My question is did he go back to those boys etc.. and ask for forgiveness? if possible. Then my understanding is w/o the Holy Spirit no man will enter heaven. So we know the HS will not dwell in a corrupt temple. If you are sinning against God and isn't born again, in Hell you lift up your eyes. The Bible has judged.

Eddie Long tarnished his ministry and Gods name to the world. He may not be forgiven for that. I think by him being a national public "Figure of God" he should've publically apologized and repented on national tv. He shouldve told the world that he was just a man and no man is above Gods judgement. The reason why I say this is because some people are on the borderline of joining a good church but negative publicity will cause them to say "See what happens when you go to church." People are always looking for a reason to stray away from the word and not remain faithful unto God. Some people were never introduced to Gods word or a church but they watched him on tv and could've possibly became a servant of God if this man wouldn't have been involved in scandal. When people see scandal in a church they use that as a way to vaildate their claims and remain a sinner. They know they are doing wrong but they need a reason to remain doing wrong and he gave it to them! Alot of lost people dont understand a minister is just a man the same as everyone else. A minister is supposed to bring the lost to Gods word and prove to them God is alive. God wants those that are lost in sin not those that are best dressed and shelling out big money. Eddie Long's ministry will forever be tarnished because he was proven to be a hypocrite. He never did anything before he died to show the world he messed up and was on the path of fixing his soul. This message was and is convicting. It tells me much about the ministry of the Holy Spirit when He came into the world at Pentacost. He begin the very message through the Apostles which Jesus made mention of that "When He the Spirit (relating to the Holy Ghost) is come. He shall reprove (convict, convince) the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgement. Jesus made it clear the true ministry of the Spirit is to convince man (humanity) of they're unholiness. Our Lord told His Apostles that the Holy Spirit's message and purpose is threefold actually…. Sin, Righteousness, and Judgement. These three are the Hallmark of the Holy Spirit's ministry in the world since Pentacost to the present hour. The Holy Spirit shows humanity they're required and manditory need for Jesus our Savior, the only Savior of and for humanity. When I listen to this brother preach I being a believer was moved to fear and respect to God. This brother's message makes you face yourself, examen yourself, check yourself especially if you are a believer. His message causes one to search they're heart's to see rather they are truly in the faith and serving God as they should. I appreciate your message my brother.
