Amen. One of Charles Spurgeon's greatest messages. Come Lord Jesus. "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed" [1 Cor 15v52]
Thirteen times פֶלֶא appears, clustered in three major literary settings: • The Exodus tradition (Exodus 15:11). • The Psalter’s historical and lament psalms (Psalm 77:11; 77:14; 78:12; 88:10; 88:12; 89:5; 119:129). • The Prophets and Writings addressing future hope or present judgment (Isaiah 9:6; 25:1; 29:14; Lamentations 1:9; Daniel 12:6).
Across these settings, the word anchors memory, shapes worship, sustains hope, and warns of judgment
Isaiah 9:6 names the coming King “Wonderful Counselor,” crowning פֶלֶא with royal and messianic significance. The title points beyond isolated miracles to the Person in whom the very nature of God’s wonder dwells. The Servant-King embodies and surpasses every previous act of marvel; His incarnation, ministry, resurrection, and promised return are the climactic פֶלֶא that unites redemption history.
I'm not watching the video, but just so i can share info, According to the CONCORDANCE Isaiah 9:6 DOES not teach that CHRIST is THE MOST HIGH GOD, Go to the concordance and look up the word God in that verse and you will see its not referring to THE MOST HIGH GOD WHO IS THE FATHER ONLY, but it actually means people and is talking about people, Not GOD as in the only TRUE GOD. The word God in that verse is defined as MEN OF MIGHT AND RANK. Below is a copied and pasted definition from blue letter bible concordance and youll notice Isaiah 9:6 is at the very bottom grouped into this definition AND NOT THE MOST HIGH GOD definition.
† 1. applied to men of might and rank, אֵל גוים mighty one of the nations Ezekiel 31:11 (of Nebuchadnezzar; Greek Version of the LXX ἄρχων ἔθνων, איל some MSS. Co); אֵלִים mighty men Job 41:17 (אילים, many MSS. Di); אֵלֵי גִבּוֺרִים mighty heroes Ezekiel 32:21 (אֵילֵי MSS. Co); אֵילֵי הָאֶרֶץ Ezekiel 17:13; 2 Kings 24:15 (Kt אולי); אֵילִים Exodus 15:15 (probably plural of III. אַיִל, which see) These readings are uncertain because of an effort to distinguish these forms from the divine name. אֵל גִּבּוֺר mighty hero (as above) ordivine hero (as reflecting the divine majesty) Isaiah 9:6.
Saints, I am reaching out in utter desperation for prayer. I've been very unwell and the chronic illness I have is incurable, so I feel very discouraged and almost hopeless with this prolonged suffering. I have a young daughter who needs me. I need a miracle. Could you pray for me, a stranger, but sister in Christ? I don't know what else to do. 😭
Like the shadow of a great rock in a desert land, God is your refuge from the ills of life. The old hymn says, "Rock of ages cleft for me, let me hide myself in Thee." God can be your shelter from the storm. God's power can protect you from every temptation and defeat. Try to feel His divine power – call on it – accept it – and use it. Armed with that power, you can face anything. Each day, seek safety in God's secret place, in communion with Him. You cannot be wholly touched or seriously harmed there. God can be your refuge

Psalm 19
New Living Translation
1"The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
The skies display his craftsmanship"
The skies in the big cities don't display his craftsmanship so much due to the amount of artificial lighting which is required now for safety purposes
