Finny did say some good things. But his theology brought him to crazy conclusions. As if God is just there waiting on us to act in the way God needs us. In that it’s up to us to do the work and God. Like God passed the work to us and now waits for us. Not just in the matter of salvation but even spreading the gospel and helping others. Doesn’t seem he thought it was God doing work through us. But it is truly up to us.
This video is a lie, that’s not what Finney believed and the video before is a lie too. They believed that at the preaching of the Gospel a person could then respond by believing and trusting Christ for Salvation. This is by the way scriptural because the Holy Spirit is involved every time the Gospel is preached,

Dangerous for both the preacher and the listener. I may dare say, the consumer, because both the preacher and the consumer are on fallen foundations.
