"Those who own a God and a providence, and observe how unequal things are in the present life, how frequently the best men fare worst, cannot doubt as to an after-state, where every thing will be set to rights. Let us not be joined with ungodly men; but warn all around us, especially children and young persons, to shun them as a pestilence. Let us awake to righteousness, and not sin."

  2. 50:19…"You young people, you would not be likely to plunge into youthful gaieties to your own damage, if you felt that you might die while yet you are young."

For those whose lives were complicated from birth we need to realize Spurgeon is preaching to people when the civil government's policies had lingering effects of religious discipline.

  4. Dear brethren, I ask for your continuing prayers. Please add my family to your prayer list. My son's name is Hosea. My wife has separated from me and is doing things the world's way.

The Lord has been my help this far, of course. I will see my son this Saturday God willing. Please keep praying for us.
