Jesus was exposing the law is about our hearts not our actions. Sin is in the heart and when we try to only conform our actions, we will fail. Grace is salvation at the heart level, wiping out sin. We need to know the bar is so high that we cannot meet the standard. Then we submit to God’s free gift of salvation

Before you make any decisions… I support this man…but I must say this…I have heard this comment so many times "you need to go to church on Sunday ". Many of us live in a wasteland..there are so few that are so worldly and carnal that if you went there and listened to dung they were spewing out, it would harm you spiritually for weeks if not months. I have heard men of God teach that it is critically important what you allow in your spirit. And I have eaten the hay and thrown out the stubble. Too much stubble now. 🙁
