This song is gorgeous and reminds me of my grandparents. Married 67 years and the only thing that could ever seperate them was death. My grandfather died christmas morning 2023. My grandmother died when he did, she is physically still among the living but lost to grief and dementia. She was 17 and he was barely 19 when they got married, their love stood the test of time and loss. I know if given the choice to go back and do it all over, they would.
I heard this song at a carnival and I Shazamed it because it sounded like one of "my songs" according to my gf. (Commenting on her account right now) She was absolutely right. This song is now one of my favorites when I'm missing her or one of my best friends that has moved out of town.
