Spurgeon makes the point very simply! "Was there an effect without a cause?"
The incredulity of today's educators is astounding.
It seems likely Isaac Newton addressed the issue of effect arising from cause and today's educators don't understand this simple concept.
Newton recognized a "why" 'component' needs to be addressed which today John Lennox puts a lot of work in so doing. Below more of Newton's views.
Children famously ask "why".
Adults now infamously have no answer!
Solomon, after his discourse on vanity gives an idea of how to answer; Ecclesiastes 12:13 "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man."
A thought; maybe Adam failed to adequately inform Eve about the only prohibition concerning their continued wellbeing as he alone was informed of this. Genesis 2:15 "And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it." 16 "And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:" 17 "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die"
While Newton could mathematically describe how effects occurred, he admitted he could not always explain the underlying why: Hypotheses Non Fingo: In his famous phrase "I feign no hypotheses," Newton addressed the fact that while he could prove gravity existed and calculate its effects, he could not identify its physical cause (e.g., what gravity actually is). The "First Cause": Newton believed that by deducing causes from effects, one would eventually arrive at a "First Cause" that was not mechanical but divine. He viewed the universe as a "clockwork" system governed by laws established by God.
"Know therefore today, and take it to your heart, that the Lord, He is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other" [Deut 4v35] Truth is a stubborn thing.

Could anyone that sees this please pray for me for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was a child? I have no idea what caused it but it has followed me since I was very young specifically influencing people to do terrible things to me to try to push me toward deep unforgiveness. It succeeded at doing so for most of my life until God began delivering me from unforgiveness and, subsequently, this warfare this year. However, certain problems still persist and Satan is continually trying to flare these attacks back up especially at certain times in my life. There is a group of people who have been targeting me under the influence of this warfare for years and while their behavior has improved as God has delivered me from all these things I've mentioned, their harassing restarts every time Satan starts attacking me again. I'm very tired of it all and struggling right now to resist the enemy and be obedient to God and follow His guiding. Thank you.
