Today I share 17 lessons I’ve learned later than I would have liked in my Christian walk. Now, obviously all of this advice is …

  1. since no one is truly listening this is where the crap hits the fan
what you call a church is meaningless hopeless devoid of the true spirit of the son of God
after you repent and leave the old world and you behind then you will come to know life in the Kingdom of heaven
jesus was born not just to be the sacrifice, to correct the truth to save the kingdom of heaven.
here in the earth where the first death means life in the Kingdom.and the second death is continuing beyond this .
christians as they call themselves believe because they go to church on sunday put money in the plate
sing clap the hands when they die they will go to heaven and be with their Lord and Savior. why did Jesus say REPENT now, then,
to repent is to have that God you are asking for help from, he opens your heart to the son and you will learn
you are the temple and in that temple are the churches Faith Hope Compassion Charity Mercy which is also Knowledge and wisdom
and the spirit of Belief the first 7 and the belief that binds them together.
religion , if it was so grand a thing why has it been a failure for 10,000 years.
the place is for deciding if you should repent whats to gain by being alive in this dead world of wars and disease
and greed and lies and total failure to make a history worthy of what could be, Mankind .

  2. I’m from Melbourne, Australia, age 48. I went to Christian church all my growing up and attended regularly until age 33. Things I’ve come to realise: 1. There is no evidence for The Supernatural. 2. Therefore Jesus likely lived, but wasn’t supernatural. 3. God doesn’t exist either: he both requires evidence but has none. It’s better to study Cosmology than religion.

  3. As Richard Dawkins, Emeritus Professor of Evolutionary Biology at the University of Oxford would say, “I’m not interested in whether you’re advocating a belief which makes you “feel good” or not. I’m interested in knowing whether it’s TRUE.” Christians do well on the first point, and can find no evidence for the second other than blind faith.

  4. Sin and how there’s no way to go around it without Christ. I feel like I haven’t heard pastors talk about how much we need Jesus. Usually it’s just living from his love that they talk about but I never hear the nitty gritty ness about how much we actually need Jesus.

  5. This is my first time finding your videos. Are you Pentecostal? lol I just ask because some of the things you say sound a lot like my husband and friends. I grew up Catholic and then my mom turned to yoga/witchcraft/hinduism/buddhism and it impacted my family and I was 10/11 years old so I was so young and was very easily swayed but my husband prayed so hard for years when we met and while we were dating because he was worried about dating me with my beliefs but God told him that He had plans and we were meant to be together and to trust in Him, and He did and through my husband and God and my friends now, my heart changed and opened up to God and I’m finding my way. Glad to have found your videos and it honestly made me feel better about how I’m doing as a baby Christian because I’ve wondered if I’m doing enough but I know God will guide everything I need to do.

  6. Why are we here? Why do innocent people suffer? What happens when a person dies? If everyone wants peace, why is there so much war? What will happen to the earth in the future? The Bible encourages us to seek answers to such questions,

  7. What's does the past mean in abrahaimic faiths: theological prospective… the rule and/or the exception, or acceptance???? what is heathen christianity? Hebrew mixed with pagan magic and witchcraft, in another words, new age sorcery and alchemy( still following the blueprint of Egypt? Babylon? Phoenicia?) post pagan???? european and african nations, first heathen churches? vs first sympathizers/ believers, first "contact"… 3 olive branches in christianity ( tree/asherah???)… Jewish-Christianity: The first branch based on accepting Jesus as the Messiah, rooted in the Temple/Synagogue tradition…. not the first branch of monotheistic sympathizers, but the first branch of sympathizers towards jewish christians and christianity. the first sympathizers of the "canaanite/hebrew/henotheistic monolatrous/ monotheistic faith were, first to last: ( infidels??? this cannot be true because according to their history, they ( canaanites) are the infidels ( stolen blessing?) first is the canaanite, and surrounding nations, then non hebrew within their own (gentile, which could be family), then roman catholic hierarchy, pagans), then their own backsliders, jewish christians ( heretics, who HEBREWS eventually had sympathy for), then european and african protestant ( heathens)… 3 olive branches orthodoxy ( european and african first believers), roman catholic ( roman), and protestant ( christian)… moreover I want to know why the "original canaanites or ancestors of hebrews" follow noachide laws? They are the cornerstone of the hebrews, but follow gentile law??? And although redefined as Hebrew, you still follow a gentile god??? After all of this, im confused….

  8. I was raised into jehovah witness while most teachings of it was similar to being a follower of Jesus/Trinity teachings, there are a lot of different things of course. I am months in into being a believer in Jesus Christ i’m 19 years old and I have this expectation for myself of feeling like I should have everything figured out all at once. Thank your for this video really helped my journey
    ❤️❤️

  9. Great video. Some thoughts as I watch it:

    – legalism is indeed very dangerous.. and not just to maturity as a Christian – it has potential to cause someone leaving Christ altogether as they stop accepting grace (salvation through faith alone) and start relying on their acts (being self-righteous), which is not only dead religion, it's also an affront to Jesus and his sacrifice
    – similarly, putting emotions (be it passion or whatever) and personal revelation/experiences on the same level (or even higher) as Bible is very dangerous

    – while I agree that liturgical worship isn't inherently bad or good, I find it somewhat risky – if there is a given form everyone must follow, not only that limits what personal experiences you can have, but it can also lull you into "going through the motions" rather than actually worshiping and praying more easily than spontaneous worship simply because it doesn't promote creativity and individualism.. So if you are in traditional church with strong liturgy, I recommend you do something extra at home – like do your own Bible reading beyond what the liturgy prescribes, pray with your own words, that kind of thing

    – yes, ask questions and if you're an intellectual, do study at least basics of christian theology.. But don't feel that you ought to – it doesn't help everyone and for many more practically-oriented Christians, it can even be negative.. I've seen many empty debates and even heated arguments about this or that verse and sad thing is that often, it simply doesn't matter because both sides agree on what should be done in practice. Furthermore, non-essential theological doctrines can cause needless division and some denominations take it way too seriously, calling other Christians anathema because of minor disagreements
    – that being said, some of the differences are crucial, such as the Solas or even the apostolic creed, which can lead to actual heresy and endanger salvation (usually in the form of relying on acts or sacraments, or even praying to angels or dead people)
    – yeah, the emphasis on eschatology in some churches is pretty crazy – when it really doesn't matter. You ain't going to predict when it happens anyway so just live as if it could happen at any moment and put your trust in God that he's got it 🙂

    – what? that "husband/pastor is also your savior" is really weird.. Grew up in Pentecostal church, but in central Europe – could it be US-specific?

    – hmm, gotta disagree with the tithing – not with the giving itself (and I actually do tithe) but with it as an institution and that it is often under pressure and with promise of blessing in return (or even threat of bad stuff happening unless you tithe), which is basically a seed of prosperity "gospel".. Tithing is also the only modern Christian doctrine that is built on solely Old Testament verses (which is dangerous in itself) and Church isn't modeled after Judaism – there are to be no priests (as everyone can have direct access to God through Jesus and his sacrifice). I'd also warn about the attitude you described – giving uncomfortably. Bible says that God loves happy giver, not a stressed, forced one who is afraid God or church will reject him unless he gives enough.
    – yes, do give as much as you can and yes, do live in dependence in God, but please, don't give away your home and don't endanger your family by giving more than you can afford and don't endanger your relationship with God by giving more than you are okay with in your heart – if you do that long-term, you can easily start being unconsciously resentful towards church or even God
    – 10% is a good number as a guideline, but don't think it's some important value – if you give 5%, God won't love or bless you less and if you give 20%, it won't be a life-changer. Ask God what and to whom you should give, give something as alms to the needy, give something to your local church (the heating will always cost something and if you have full-time pastor, so will the wages) but please, don't make it into a law that would bind you and make you miserable.

  10. 22:35…..you're supposed to serve everyone first and you last…thats humility isn't it. When you serve everyone 1st and have 0 for self and it turns to hurt you….thats the problem. I don't think God wants us to be humble to.the point of we have 0 gas left for self.

  11. I wish I had a friend like you to learn more. I grew up in churches. My parents both saved their life to God in 1994 I was 7 years old., and that church was very alive. I made church friends but I was never aloud to participate in youth groups cause 11-12 years old wasto young. I felt like i as always rejected. (I'm 38 now and I still feel this way) when 13 almost 14 I start taking a different path. Cause I was never aloud to do anything, participate in church or see school friends. Well I became a rebel 😅. I now have kids with 2 man, my last relationship was extremely mental abusive, after I carried my baby 9 months for him, 3week after she was born I was not aloud to hold her anymore when I was home. He was telling me already have my kids and this one was his…. 5-6 months later it was mother's day,and has soon I heard her waking up in got her with her. When I got up he was so made at me for not waking him up to care for her. And that day he tried all day to send me away so he could. Ri g my baby to his mother and grand mother…. after 4year of asking him to leave I had enough that wasthe day I prayed a cry for help to God 10 days later one of my 11years old cane up to me about what he was doing to her behind my back. 2 days after that he was kicked out of my house by the social worker. God work in mysterious ways. Since I've been going more to church but my church is so dead now it unreal. I have hard time to go cause of that. There's only few people now and weirdest thing they all have start drinking wine. I,I've Ina vr3y small town and I don't have much options of church. I want to keep my faith but it's very hard. I just wish I had Christian friends like you that I can lean from…

  12. I was born and raised a Christian and through better understanding god, I read the bible fully myself.
Then I answered the many questions and became unconvinced by the claims of the supernatural world.
Being unconvinced I could no longer believe. Without being able to believe I will burn for all of eternity.
    Any thoughts?

  13. If there is anyone curious about it, here are the three steps on how to get saved, and be right with God who loved us all, for eternal life!

As anyone at all can get saved! :[)

1-Realize that everyone has sinned before God in some way or another.

    Romans 3: 10+23 (KJB)

    10. "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"

    23. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

2-Realize that God loved us, even as wicked sinners, enough to allow Jesus to pay the full price for our sins as a freely given gift.

    Romans 5: 8-9 (KJB)

    8. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

9."Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him."

3-Confess unto God, asking to be forgiven of your sins by accepting this free gift of forgiveness, that is given freely to whosoever does so.

    1 Corinthians 15: 1-4 (KJB)

    1."Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2."By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.”

3."For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;”

4."And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

    Romans 10: 9-10+13 (KJB)

    9. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

10."For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

13."For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Otherwise you will have to face Gods eternal judgment for your sins without having the free gift of salvation from Jesus Christ, which is to burn forever in hell, all to not sin ever again.

    Hebrews 9: 27-28 (KJB)

27."And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"

28."So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

    Revelation 21: 8 (KJB)

"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

    Romans 6: 23 (KJB)

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

(Lastly here is an example of what to pray to God to get saved and forgiven of your sins.)

“Dear God, I am a sinner and need saving.

I know I’m not good enough to get to heaven and I need you to save me.

I need the righteousness of your son, Jesus Christ.

I believe that Jesus is the Lord, who died, was buried and resurrected so that his precious blood can wash away my sins.

I trust in him alone to save me.

    Nothing else.

Not my good works or anything else.

    Only Jesus.

I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.”

  14. I changed from ESV to NKJ and KJ because of 1x scripture. Psalm 138.2. Having grown up JWs mentality I struggled with the ‘Jehovah or Jesus’ idea. But Psalm 138.2 ‘…your word above all the Name’ compared to John 1.1 fits and gave me such peace ❤

  15. Also to compliment your advice about not trying to read the entire bible in a set amount of time.. also dont try to go in and pick apart every verse at first. Im only just now realizing it doesn’t always have to be a deep study i can just open it and read and if i dont understand something right now doesnt mean i wont understand it later.. maybe my 2nd time through ill understand it better. Hope that helps just get in there and read no time limits and no obligation to study everything at once

  16. Yes me too the maturity didnt come until I took into my own hand to study for myself. I realized alot of misused scriptures and the legalism was bad and pull us away. Like my mom who started sympathizing with muslims and i realize they dont serve the same God.

  17. I want to bring a couple corrections to this video that are very important. It does matter under what teach you sit under for denomination. Although it is a divide and isnt the desire of THE LORD. THE LORD is looking for worshippers who worship in Spirit & Truth. Second, stop teaching tithing. The new testament actually teaches to give from what you have, not from what you don't. But your life style and choices should reflect to give glory to GOD. Thank you.

  18. I'm a "baby Christian" here! I can not tell you how your recommendation to have a Bible dictionary has transformed my bible reading experience! I also wanted to share I have one physical and one on my Kindle. If you have Kindle unlimited there's multiple "free" choices! Thank you Faith I'm loving your content. You have made my bible experience so much more digestible. (For the very first time) Excited to be in God's word.

  19. …im 33 and dont have a regular Christian face to face group at all. I came to Christ at age 7 and grew up in the church I still attend. I have GAD with panic attacks and ADHD and no driver's license so I cant get myself anywhere alone.

  20. 17:08 I've been thinking about this lately. There is such a focus on Escotology that faith and glory to the Lord get lost. People are so busy looking for signs we've neglected the Word and living lives with passion Christ.

  21. The way I grew up can basically be summed up as my home town should've read and heeded Matthew 18:6

I'm a "baby christian", former pagan only 6 months ago and I feel like the last 5 months have gone so fast I just need to make sure I have all 4 wheels on the ground still.

  22. Thank you for making this video. As a Christian who grew up in church, I have tons of shame as a young adult about how little bible knowledge I actually have. I struggle to commit to the regular daily discipline of bible study… but I recognize that is the path to being closer with the Lord, and closeness with God is my deep desire. So I am learning how to do that. And yes, I really need some discipleship and have recognized the extreme lack of those willing to disciple the younger generations. We can't do it alone! We need community

  23. This is the kind of message a lot of believers wish someone had been honest about earlier. Faith grows, but sometimes it grows through hard lessons that reshape how we see God, people, and ourselves. Videos like this help people realize they’re not alone in that process. Moments like this are honestly what inspire me, (Urban Jonesy), to keep creating things that encourage people who are still figuring out their walk with God. 🙏🙏

  24. What I wish I knew as a baby Christian… Repentance is not about getting forgiveness for sins. Jesus already took care of that. Repentance is about restoring the damage sin causes in the relationship with God. Sin causes us to hide from God (think Adam and Eve). The quicker we can repent and reconcile, the less of a hold our sin has on us. Every believer should become an expert at repentance, at turning back to God, turning away from the sin, and seeking that restoration. God is not focused on my sin. It is already paid for. Please understand, sin is a big deal. But only because it puts distance between us and God. In my early years, I spent a tremendous amount of time focusing on my sin, setting up guards and blocks to make certain sins inconvenient. However, that does not deal with the heart issue. If God does not focus on my sin, I should not either. Once I stopped focusing on the sin and learned to quickly (and genuinely) repent and focus on God and scripture, sin became a background aspect of my humanity. The guilt and shame of my sin no longer keeps from engaging with God.

  25. I’ve only been saved a year this month and I come from the worst lifestyle and background imaginable. I’m trying to learn all I can about the Lord and the Bible to heal my mind and soul. Im almost through reading the bible for the second time in a year. I appreciate your videos and everything you’re teaching and sharing sister 😊

  26. I fall in the camp of dispensationalism, I believe that we should be taught the entirety of the scriptures, including revelation, which so many Pastors these days seem to leave out of their teachings. I have several brothers & sisters in Christ who also follow the dispensations and I have never heard them say that in order to be a good Christian you have to do this or that or know everything or else. We just desire the truth, precept upon precept teaching of the literal Word of God, not a watered down theology that forfeits some scriptures because its hard or people might not be ready or whatever else excuse there is for not teaching the entirety of scripture.
