I Agee about the obedience but God doesn't stop problems. That's life. Look at all the prophets of the Bible. They had nothing but problems and sorrow. If you think you're somehow above this then you're delusional. Life is suffering. Christ isn't about finding prosperity. Christ is about salvation in the face of suffering. Like Jesus said. I'd they persecuted me they will you. If you follow him then this isn't your best life. This isn't if. This is a life of joyful suffering. You will suffer. You will feel pain. You will be lost in the world but not with Jesus. This man is just puffing you up like levened bread. God owes you nothing. He's given you life. You owe him.
