I'm glad you found something that gives you purpose. But the cyclical nature of sinning and repenting and being born again gets tiring. I think people can find meaning without being religious. It's honestly probably easier that way. I've been baptized 3 times and I've been to countless churches and each time I feel like religious communities can be toxic and fake. The people you meet at church will invite you there next Sunday and talk to you at church and as soon as you stop going it's like you're strangers again. And everyone is always doing nice things for brownie points with God and not because they want to do it. I'm not trying to lessen the importance of your personal journey.
Umm if you get baptized and have not really confessed your sins and fully live the Christ centered life all this means nothing, and it is wrong to flaunt yourself in this way. This is in no way Christlike
I can confidently say that you look different—you have a noticeable glow. Your face radiates brightness, and your life seems more colorful. With Jesus at the center of your life, everything will go well as long as you have even a tiny amount of faith, like a mustard seed, and continue to pray.
