The gospel (good news) is that Jesus has done everything He can to save us and once we accept His righteousness and the Holy Spirit we can be transformed to live a new life (born again) not subject to the bondage of sin that once controlled us. Christ in us is the gospel promise although self has to die for that to happen which is the struggle that many Christians are still caught up in as the love of the world and the pleasure of sin still finds a place in their hearts which makes them unwilling to fully surrender to God. This world has a finite existence as God has a judgment process (Rev 14:6-12) but we don't need to be lost because of our past sins as there is still time to repent and be fully converted and receive the righteousness of Christ by faith.
I realized now at the age of 77 I have claimed to be a solid Christian and for the most part still lived the way I desired, not by the will of God. By my own understanding in other words. Finally after an abusive marriage, divorce and failing health, God has my attention. We play "church" and serve the "church" and still do not know our Father our Lord and Savior. Thank you 🙏
I don't know. On Dec 7 2022 I was dead of coved for 27 min. I was an athiest and Jesus stopped me in the tunnel just before I was dead and gave me one more chance to repent. I took his offer and he forgave me a life time of mostly being against him. He wiped it all out for the words JESUS FORGIVE ME MY SINS.
Yes there is judgement for those that will not repent, but on that day he could have walked away and left me to live in Hell, but instead he gave me another chance. Never under rate the unbelievable mercy of God through Jesus the Son. It it truly beyond comprehension.
I found this out first hand.
Think about what he did. Senators in the US keep their sons away from war and death while sending yours to die. God did the opposite and sent his only son to die so yours do not have to. He is the greater friend.
Time to repent. Here is where to start.

To be in the hands of the true and living God who holds the world together with his word and not to see Him as been Holy ,we as a church were made to give him all the Glory. All who fears this all powerful God just think the earth and all the animals the stars the oceans and mountains worship there creature but man has been give the honor to be created in there in the likeness of God Beloved Son and we still won't worship him. For he knew no sin but took on our sins and gave is his righteousness so we could be the sons of God
