What do I do if I told someone that I made the desire list? I feel like that got in the way of the energy, maybe I'm just paranoid, but if someone has a suggestion what to do, lmk
The bible says :" delight yourself in the Lord , and He will give you the desire of your heart." We do not know what our heart truly desires. God knows us better than we know ourselves. Just write down everything that you want right now ( money, health, relationships, forgiveness, peace etc…). But pretty soon, God will reveal to you what you really need for the advancement of your soul, for your gradually becoming like Christ: loving, kind, wise, humble, forgiveness, obedience to God…because to become like Christ is the happiest thing in the Universe. Ask Him to guide your mind, your heart, your hand to write down what He wants for your life. Do not ask what you want, ask what God want for you because God knows what is best for you. Remember, God is more interested in saving your soul than your flesh. The apostle Paul was in prison. People tried to kill him. Yet, he was very content, joyful. So, know that happiness is a state of mind, of gratitude, of faith in God, not in big bank account, fancy house, fancy car… But God will take care of your health and your everyday needs also. Remember the Hebrews in the wilderness who tried to hoard, save the bread, the manna from the sky for the next day? The food got spoilt. So, do not be anxious for tomorrow. God will take care of you every single day. All you need is to receive his forgiveness for all your sins, receive the finished work of Jesus on the cross, love, grace, wisdom, provision from God each day, obey Him and be grateful and content, and LOVE GOD, LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.
My God. I got to 74 things and hit a wall. I feel like I don’t even know 300 things I want; how did you guys write 300 things. I feel like I’m gonna start repeating myself
Dear Steve, this video is just crazy, the positivity, the power of words the presence of God everything is magnificent, I really didn't know you because I live in another country (Brazil) but this video appeared to me a month ago and took me away out of a massive depression where all I could think about was ending my life, right now I'm warming up to writing my list to God, Thank you for everything Steve, really thank you for everything
ye has not because ye ask not….James 4:2 When i was about 16 years of age I did just that without knowing what i was doing,wrote down a list of things i want to accomplish in life,when i look at that list now i realize that i have scratched a lot of things off that list like having my own business and so forth and now the list keeps getting longer as time goes on.Thats why every idea that i get i write it down and work towards it.
I love this segment… I’ve watched it I’d say nearly 100 times over the past 3 years. It always lifts me up and reminds me of the power of focus and faith ❤
