Even back in the cult, the name Marrion (which the computer is putting a red line under because it is spelled wrong with the two Rs Ha Ha! Pretty funny, considering the content of video) puzzled me a bit. Not that it couldn't happen, of course, but Marion seemed like an odd choice for a 15 year Kentucky hillbilly (I'm allowed to call them that, since I'm from West Virginia) and a 17 Kentucky hillbilly, who I assume were not educated people, to name their child. It just seems sort of sophisticated to name a boy Marion. I often puzzled about that, but back then I just thought God inspired them to name him that so he could have the three names with seven letters each that he made such a big deal of.
