I have always wondered why sex is the fulcrum for abstaining from marital responsibility.

The idea that feelings justify sexual restraint, but they do not justify other aspects of the marital institution.

I remember in my younger days how I despised working as a customer call agent, but I was forced to because of nuclear family provision. I will go for night shift from 8pm to 7am, and I hated it so much. My feelings were validated, but I had no choice.

When my wife, who was a house wife, explains away her sexual restraint due to mood. I could clearly observe the double standard.

After incessant explanations and standing my grounds, there has been a huge improvement since then. To God's glory, we are going 24 years now.

Actually marriage is a beautiful things that God created.. Because through it men are born in the fresh who in the future time will do exploits for the kingdom of our God. Truly marriage is sweat and good.

God Bless you Sir, you're always doing a good Job with marrital issues. Sex is not optional or a matter of choice. I've bn married for 18yrs +, I've never denied my husband of Sex, I have never said later. I always put myself in his shoes to feel how uncomfortable he may become without letting out what is discomforting him. Sometimes Sex is not just fun but a relief to stress, anxiety, grief, etc so if you're there to meet your partners need you won't willingly deny your partner of Sex.

Please Sir I have followed your messages for more than 10 years now. Please let the marriage counseling not be a one off thing, some of us are still trusting God for a life partner and we are interested in the group marriage counseling.
