He has made good points but I strongly disagree with his view that a government can alienate the church. It is been tried by greater empires than Nigeria to destroyed the faith and it didn't work. It can never work because God is true to His church. So institutional persecution of the church should not be among the reasons as scriptures and Jesus Himself told us "that in the life, you will suffer persecution but be of good cheer". Persecution for better or worse is a part of the Church life. This crave for religious freedom under the auspices of the church and persecution prevention could lead to a more dangerous animal called Christian Nationalism which for me is more dangerous that governmental persecution of the church because at that point Apostasy happens as spoken in 2 Thes 2:3.
So I am saying "we should vote for demonic candidates"?, certainly NOT. Listen to the Man of God, vote your conscience but beware and take heed to your faith and lay hold on it if you are a Christian during this process because church life is more than important than any government in power.
