Muslims and Athiests are quick to claim that Jesus never said he was God, but perhaps theres a deeper reason why?

  1. So when Jesus said "Before Abraham was, I AM" He wasn't deliberately saying "I am God" ? Because if He wasn't the Jews reeeealllly overreacted. Also, Thomas tells Jesus "My Lord and my God". After saying "nahhhh, I don't believe you. Not until I put my finger through the holes in His hand I'm not believing He's resurrected from the dead".

  2. Mark 14:62 Jesus said, “ I Am . And you will see the Son of Man seated in the place of power at God’s right hand and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

There is no clearer declaration of deity by Christ in the entire Gospel narrative, and he said it right to the high priests face. This is why, after he tore his robes, the next words out of the high priest's mouth were "why do we need any more witnesses? You have all heard his blasphemy." Then they sentenced Jesus to die. Why? Because he had just declared that he was God.

Jesus was referring to himself as the divine Son of Man figure in Daniel 9 who comes on the clouds, something only God does, before the throne of the Father and is given glory and an everlasting kingdom.

This is not even to mention that he said before Abraham was I AM (John 8), I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last (Rev 2 & 22), I and the Father One (John 10), if you have seen me you have seen the Father (John 14), forgiving sins, which only God has the authority to do (Mark 2), and the list goes on and on.

Jesus emphatically declared himself to be God, anyone who doesn't see it is either ignorant or willfully blind.

  3. There are a few scriptures that indicate that Jesus is very close in nature to his Father and this is because he was created to represent his Father while managing His created assets during His father,s 7000 thousand years rest period from creation.. This is why Jesus is called "Lord of the Sabbath"
Jesus shared in the creation activities to the extent of doing all creation at his Father,s direction. "All things were created by him, through him and for him" He claims that all authority has been given him in heaven and on earth."
The Bible states that God raised Jesus from the dead. If you believe that Jesus raised himself from the dead you are saying that the Bible is a liar.
Jesus had to be mortal in order to die. If he was God he would not have died, but would have instantly become a spirit upon his death.. God, his Father, had to raise him after three days as a life giving spirit, giving him the power to raise his body from death. This is why Jesus said in Rev. 1:9 – I was the living one and then I was dead and now I live forever and ever. He gained immortality by fulfilling his Father's commission.
Anyway, Jesus, now in the spirit realm claims that he does not know the hour or day of his second coming to cleanse the earth of all evil. He is also addressed as "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus also says that – Just as the Father gives me life, I give you life. I only speak the words that my Father tells me to speak. I only do what I see my Father doing. When all things have been subjected to him then he will subject all things as well as himself to his Father.
One reason Jews reject today's Christianity is that they changed the God of their Bible. The Israelites did not believe in a triune God, because it was one of the Canaanite doctrines they were told not to latch on to when they went into Cana.
I AM is not the name of God. In Ex. 3:14 it is equally correct to translate as "I will be." Two verses before this, the same words are translated as I will be. In Ex. 3:14 it means that I will be what I will be. I am is only a statement of existence.
Being the son of someone does not make you that person or even equal to him. The son is not the father on any case. Jesus was his father,s son in every sense of the word.. These leaders were liars and Jesus told them that to their faces. He always emphasized that he was the son of God. Nothing else..

  4. Genesis 35:11
    King James Version
    And God said unto him, (I am God Almighty) be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;

  5. Before abraham was i am. The father and i are one. You are to baptise in the name of the father son and holy spirit. And finally no one gets to the father except through me. Four clear statements of i am god

  6. I think God revealed it in such a way so we wouldn’t confuse Jesus with the father. If the Bible said “Jesus is God” without understanding the Trinity, then people would get confused

  7. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
    — John 1:1

He was in the beginning with God.
    — John 1:2

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
    — John 14:6

  8. To the degree you can distinguish them one can say the Father was neither made nor created nor begotten from anyone, The Son was neither made nor created; He was begotten from the Father alone, the Holy Spirit was neither made nor created nor begotten; He proceeds from the Father and the Son.

The Father sent the Son, the Son became man and died for our sins, the risen Son sent the Holy Spirit to convict us, teach us, and empower us.

  9. "I and THE FATHER are ONE! "Bro, Jesus is God—don't y'all be deceived. Christ is the God revealed in a flash; he is the vessel for the almighty Spirit of God. Because God's Spirit is so holy, it cleanses and erases those who see him. Jesus contains this mighty Holy Spirit. Jesus died on the cross and rose after 3 days. He died to take our sins upon himself. Be not mistaken.

  10. John 10:32–34 32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God
