Thank you Dr Kingsley Watching from Ottawa Canada Well said. In today’s world it would not be wise to allow another human being to be your sole provider. This is too much power and can be easily abused. Only God is our provider, the only Jehova Jirey.
A man should provide ..but if he is unable to due to whatever factor or circumstances, the wife should be able support for a time till he can resume his responsibility again. As long you know your husband is not a lazy and a visionless man without a plan. The wife is a helpmeet
😂😂 I laughed so hard when I heard the full name of "Minister Black", here I was, wondering who this "popular minister" is that everyone agreed to that I've not heard about! 😅
Watching on Monday from Cameroon 🇨🇲. Pastor Kingsley this is so so insightful. I wish our generation can get this. Truly many families when the so call soul provider dies the children becomes useless sometimes. All their standards drops because daddy is no more, what a tragedy 😭. More grace Sir Love your coaching program 🙏
PK, thank you for this teaching, I am truly blessed. Our household is one of those that is sustained by a wife’s income (mine). My husband works but he earns little. I’m a nurse practitioner with a doctorate degree. Following your teaching for the past 8 months when I came across it on Facebook, has truly helped my family. I have learned my role as a wife and how to respect my husband. There has brought peace in my home now. Yes, God is our provider, not my husband.
Women married or single, please earn. Make some money no matter how small and also learn how to manage that money ( investment, savings and multiplying).
Edit: I typed before watching the full video and Pastor K addressed all I said in the latter part of the video.
A man was supposed to provide when only men could inherit property. A man was even encouraged to marry more women so he could provide for more women and have more children to till the land he inherited.
These days, nothing to inherit anymore for men, and even when there is, both men and women inherit equally (in the absence of a will). Women even have economic advantages men don't have today. There are many entry level jobs that favour women these days. Women are top choice for sales, help desk and customer interfacing jobs. There are even employers insisting on women for social media management jobs, as if it takes a woman to make better social media posts.
Women also access help and favours easier than men (even and especially from other men), which is why they are preferred for customer interfacing jobs and sales. There are also lots of NGO's dedicated to women empowerment and hardly any focused on men, meanwhile all the ones open to men are also easily accessible to women.
I'm not saying men should not provide. I'm saying all the advantages that made it so that a man could, at one time, be the family's sole provider, now lie with women.
The only reason why men are often more financially successful than women is because of natural aggressiveness and ambition. Men have also been conditioned by society to believe that everything falls on them and nobody is coming to save them, so they hustle with desperation.
Thank you Dr Kingsley
