You should not be afraid when you hear about the rapture, rather be glad and exceedingly joyful because you are going with him when He comes and nothing can stop that; but only if You're born again and your heart is for the Lord.

The trumpet will sound but ONCE! i.e "with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God". After the sound (it'd be so loud), but two sets of people will hear it: the dead and the living saints! The dead in Christ (i.e those who're saved through Christ atoning Blood: the post Resurrection saints), will rise from wherever they're interred (land, sea, etc), then the living saints will follow. And they shall be changed and transform into glorified bodies! It'd be so, extremely fast (in the twinkling of an eye). 1 Corinthians 15:52; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.
