You’re absolutely right! Gospel music has been taken to a whole different level that doesn’t really relate to Christianity. Even the way they dance to these new aged gospel songs has been taken overboard. It’s more like a distraction and they’re using “gospel” to make it seem like it’s kool!

The former preach Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely (maybe Glo etc etc I can't say don't know her), but the latter out of love, PAUL SAYS WHAT THEN, ONLY THAT IN EVERY WAY (rap, rock, blues, gospel, etc etc God can't be limited or monopolized), WHETHER IN PRETENSE OR IN TRUTH, CHRIST IS PREACHED; AND IN THIS I REJOICE 1 PHILIPPIANS (1:15-18)….

I get the point. I have questions though about Fred Hammond's music from back in the day because Sly stone??? I think ii was said that beat does not work in the church and said it was made when they where high and it has demoic undertones …but Fred's music was all funk music inthe background. But we still play his music in the church. Also, gospel music out Grandparents listened to came from the blues which is not Godly. So I just don't know WHAT music to listen to to priase God now😮. I understand the point about Rap but I can say the Christian Raps songs I listen to keep my mind on Jesus all day because I hum words like I" blessed" … "He is lifted high..Holy" " God loves me" "Christlike "living by the word and not my eyesight' "He's a Big God" and that is all from some Christian Rap artists…the glorilla song I dont even know…never heard it..but some of these other artists lyrics are straight from the Bible…..I will have to ask God for clarity on this for sure because all of Gospel is from the world.
I might just be misunderstanding. Are you talking about gospel artists creating music with secular artists, or are you referring to Christians who truly proclaim Jesus as Lord and are spreading the gospel using a hip hop or RnB type of beat?

The younger generation is stubborn!! So please let them see their favorite artist sing a gospel song and let’s pray that it opens the door for them to want to seek the Lord and learn more about their God.
