I'm not surprised that there are people in Nigeria who will criticize pastor Kumuyi for doing that. As somebody looking into Nigeria from another country, I could see why there is lack of peace in your country. Sorry to say, you people are so religious but full of hate for each other. You can pray 24/7 for peace, but in a situation where many of the Christians in Nigeria are what I called "Taliban Christians" and your Muslims are also extremists there can be no peace. As a converted Muslim from a very die hard muslim background, there are some Muslims who Christ Himself knows can only be converted by love, respect, friendship and other informal ways of reflecting Christ to them. My first exposure or introduction to Christ was through informal way. The pharisaic Christians in Nigeria condemning this visit should remember the story of Cornelius conversion in the Bible (Acts 10). Read especially what the Bible says in Acts 10:27-33. Christ knows what no man knows.
Pls always read the Bible with understanding, for those condeming Baba Kumuyi. He is doing the work of God. Such are in the Bible. Pastor Kumuyi went on invitation to miniter the word of God in Pakustan as Paul saw in a vision that a man said to him " come and help us in Macedonia". Peter also went to Cornellius, preached to him and his house hold and they all got converted. God told Peter not to call the Gentiles common i.e condemn them. So, he was sent to preach to them by God and he did. Be ye not unequally yoked with unbelieversβ¦.. for what communion has light with darkness means "don't commit sins as they do". It does not mean we should not talk or relate with them. All you need to be cautious of is maintaining your holiness and righteousness in every sutuation.

God loves even sinners as long as they are still living and wants them all to repent. How would they if we dont express the love of God and preach to them. The problem of this generation is that we dont really sit down and study the Bible to our undeestanding. We base our knowledge on what we hear feom other preachers only. Do you know how many people Pastor Kumuyi has led to Christ and are living according to God standard today? "Uncountable". Many have made it to eternity with God through his nessages. Pastor Kumuyi is already building treasures for himself in heaven. God loves soul winners. Stop criticising and help yourself to be a soul winner too.
