Nigeria senators will never cease to amaze me they will leave the primary issues to tackle, but keep on implementing laws that is never an issue to the society.
So to you now, everything mentioned in this interview does not matter to you only that we should obey the people in authority? If the people in authority ask you to go and set yourself ablaze and die, you will just go ahead and do it because you want to obey the authority? Can we address the issues raised please?
There are many ways and channels by which Christians can witness Christ. So out of many channels available is it the bus preaching a do or die matter? Or these charlatans that parade themselves as representatives of Christ have all lost their bearing?
Are these people daft. Bus preaching restriction does not only affect christians. Or is it that only christians preaches in the bus?
Trying to paint it as if the government measure is about Christian is nothing but idiotic.
The Government is asking you not to spread the Gospel, they just don't want it to come with noice pollution and for you to think people squashing up in the bus have never heard what you are about preaching before now is delibrate ignorance, and it does not show you care about their mental hygienic.
The original bill was an Obj execute bill passed since 2007. The changes being made are to do with fines increasing and an armed wing for FRSC. BRT in Lagos enforces it on their buses. The bishop should have done his homework
This bishop is seeing the issue of insurgency as religious one.
Hmmnm. I think you are living in 1926 sir .
If Nigeria is a member of IOC you are also free to register the nation with the equivalent Christian organisation because that should not generate any issue of national discourse.
No doubt, Nigeria is a secular state but of Muslim majority for obvious reasons.
Those who made this "law" claimed that they it was to prevent accidents! What nonsense! Nobody has ever shown any occasion where preaching in a bus caused any accident. This law was made by some Islamic forces in the Senate. They never brought it out for any open discussion and debate. They surreptitiouly made this at the background a d nuw presenting it to President Tinubu to sign into law. What rubbish! Is preaching in bus part of Nigerian problems today?
Nonsense talk. These pastors and bishops have branches abroad. Why don't their members preach in public buses abroad? There are laws in place that they never fought against. Do the same thing at home and they'll start the noise. Did God Himself not command that they obey the laws of the land? Which "everywhere gospel" are they preaching? Why are these so called religious people so myopic?

What did God say? Obey people in authority, yes obey God by obeying the people in authority.
