Not-so-smart reporter didn't understand or deliberately inserted the women cant vote thingβ¦but what the guy meant wasn't the suffrage. It was the Fed reserve or the federal income tax. Yes women couldn't voteβ¦so what?
βWell I like these parts of history! Oh but not your parts no! Iβm not a supporter of slavery or lack of womanβs rights just the parts where Iβm in charge & I call the shots!β
When we were reaching for the moon. Before that, when we connected the country together with the interstate system. America doesnβt do great anymore, we do money and wars.
If you donβt think America is great than why weβre millions of undocumented illegal imigrants coming in under the bidumb administration? Funny how nowadays patriotism is a βright wingβ ideology
America was great when it was respected all over the world. I'm not sure whythe people on the left continue to act like everything had to be perfect for America to be considered great.
America was great post WW2. Opportunities arose for Americans. Even Black Americans had most success between 1940 and 1960 before the Democrats started subsidizing single motherhood and tried to destroy the black family and the American family in general. There you go. Thatβs my answer.
America was never the βnuclear family, white-picket fence utopiaβ that they idealize. There has always been deep cultural rot and abuse. We need to stop living in the past and make something beautiful out of the opportunities that are provided to us.
With the standards that these interviewers, and leftists in general, use there has not been a country since the dawn of time that could be called "great". A country can be great without being perfect.
Iβd love to live in the 1950s no crime things were less expensive a family could afford a very modern house food wasnβt off the wall with toxins there were was LESS PEOPLE . Seems like a stellar time frame to be alive. The movies were great.
try going to muslim countries in 1000 BC, slaves were approved by islam, there was a dhimmi tax for non-muslims, women had no rights, they were seen as property. And the Left loves to paint a picture of repression in America. England had poor conditions for the working class as pointed in any Charles Dickens classic novel, daily show, please grow up and ask questions that have something to do with your comebacks for segregation and slavery.
Slavery was evil, yes. But if you think about it, it paved a path for black Americans today to have the freedom they have. If slavery never happened in America, the black Americans today would still be Africans. There's usually a tiny silver lining in some of the most evil things.
FDR is the yardstick by which I measure modern American presidents and not one of them measures up. Vietnam and Afghanistan were mistakes but Iraq was nothing short of a war crime. Bill Clinton couldn't keep it in his pants and the list goes on. It's easy to get nostalgic for the 50s and 60s but the public was lied to before Tricky Dicky and by every administration since.
America was great from the beginnings. Our progress has been amazing. I'm Mexican, American Indian. Every country has it's unpopular ideas like Californians being taxed more than Canadians. π’
"America was great when it was a white colony, on land freshly taken from the savages. After that it's been going down hill with Communist ideals, like empathy, women's rights and brown people!"
Women saying America was great when they couldn't vote and work, Native Americans were hunted as savages, and black people were slaves β¦ πππ€¦π½
America was great when we separated from the monarch rule and allowed citizens to decide the leaders. Leave it to liberals to make it about slavery. America did not start slavery!!!! It had been in existence far before America was even thought of. Slavery had been in existence for almost 7,775 years before 1776. In 1865 IN AMERICA, it ended. So within 89 years America ended slavery bs 7,775 years of existence, Iβd say thatβs step move forward. But again there were other things that made this country great in 1776

All they can talk about is slavery and segregation. Our biggest downfall was integration

They werenβt even alive at the time lol
1913 before the Triple Letter Agencies came into effect
America was great when the maggats were still under their rocks!
Exactly America has never really been great
It always been issues, never been great period.
I find it ironic that LBJ (who used the N word in private to refer to black people) did more for their civil right than any POTUS since Lincoln.

She sounded so authoritative when she somewhat agreed with the slavery βstuff!β
Not too long ago, these people were so offended by us calling them racist, now they embrace it π€¦
It was great in the 80s
Now go ask a Democrat what's Kamala Harris greatest accomplishment
America has never been great!
