It is increasingly striking that many of these fathers of faith are now above 70, and this raises a critical question about the succession of evangelistic fire. The greatest concern is not simply who will occupy their platforms, but who will carry their burden, conviction, discipline, and uncompromising commitment to the Gospel.
Revival fire is not inherited by title, position, or proximity. It is sustained by men and women who are willing to pay the price of prayer, sacrifice, obedience, discipline, and unwavering devotion to God. Sadly, some among the emerging generation of ministers do not yet appear ready for the depth of consecration required to sustain what previous generations laboured and sacrificed to build.
May God raise a new generation that will not merely admire the fathers, but embrace their burden, preserve the fire, deepen the work, and carry the Gospel farther than they did. The question before us is not only, “Who comes next?” but, “Who is ready to pay the price?”
