I was adopted and never belonged with my adoptive "parents". Never fit in with them at all. I was blessed to find my first mother ,my younger brothers and sisters and even my father when I was almost 31 years old. I also found out why I didn't fit in with adoptive family,they were Irish and I , first nations! My father didn't know anything about me till the day we met because you see,my mother was told that I was stillborn. I was a six month gestation baby and not expected to live 24 hours. I had over thirty wonderful years with my Mother untill she passed a few years ago, and still keep in touch with my siblings. I am blessed!
I wasn't sure about this film during the first 30 minutes or so. Then it hooked me. I never got to know my grandparents and my parents didn't want me. A week before my mother died she called me and said she finally understood. Kind of like me staying to understand this film.
I felt I was watching an episode of the Twilight Zone. I watched it all the way through, not rubbishing the movie……….Willie Nelson is a great actor, that really jumped out at me
