The more I spend time understanding Godβs Word, the less appealing songs about the cross and the blood of Jesus become. I donβt deny the power of his devotion to the kingdom, but these songs seem Scripturally out of tune with what the focus is on. Itβs not the cross that made it possible, otherwise we would not have needed a savior.
