  1. School is just not a place of learning, it is a battle field where the devil captures the young minds of the future generation of every family, country, or nation.
As a Sunday school teacher for teenagers, I can totally relate with each one of these students. If the home is not balanced, the children loose focus because the only place where they should find love has been destroyed.
This is an eye opener. God bless the team and everyone involved in this masterpiece, and I'm also grateful I watched this movie because God kept shoving it in my face🙌🏻🙏🏻

  2. Kaaaaaaiii 🔥🔥🔥
I learnt alot from this movie!
Indeed, I must take my sector for the kingdom because lot of things are hidden🥺
    I'm the Light!!
Thank you so much Sir's and Ma's for this movie!
    You are strengthened!

    God bless.

  3. The ambience of the entrance scene (Ìlórin) and the song selection set the perfect tone for the movie.

    Song Selection
The first song immediately gives us that Yorùbá cultural feel, setting the atmosphere beautifully. What I love is how they don’t quickly introduce the Christian theme but allow it to grow naturally with the plot. Also, when they mentioned the family house (Corper’s lodge) instead of showing us the actual lodge, they replaced it with a song that gives us the feeling of a Christian lodge. That creative decision added to the movie’s depth without needing extra visuals.

    Character Development
The school principal stood out for me, the way he spoke, his mix of big grammar and code-switching. His character was so well-defined and engaging. Even though the principal’s tribal mark didn’t look real, it was still on point! I loved his cap, and the clothing was well chosen. I love these statements
    – Gbogbo ìgbà kì í ṣe pé a ń jagun ẹnu
    – Gẹ̀lẹ́tẹ̀ rẹ̀ ní owó mi
    – òṣìṣè wà nínú ọ̀run; nawo nawo bẹ́è ní ìbòjí.

The school background noise, especially the sound of birds singing in every school scene, was on point. It added a natural feel to the environment.

    Sẹ̀yí and His Parents
The relationship dynamic between Sẹ̀yí’s parents was deeply portrayed. A relationship should never reach the point where both partners are afraid to talk because of the other's reaction.
Whenever we leave our hearts empty and fail to fill them with God's word, the devil paints an illusion as truth. In Sẹ̀yí’s case, hard drugs played a role, but there are many ways this deception can happen.
The moment I saw October 25th at first, I knew they were trying to communicate something deep but I was watching until the mystery was revealed. I loved how they made us believe Sẹ̀yí’s twin sister was real from the very beginning until the end when we finally discovered she had been dead all along. That was genius!

May my children never tell me, "Probably when they are reasonable by then." 😩
May an unbeliever never be the one to teach me how to relate with my Father!

Pẹ̀m Pẹ̀m, Her Auntie, and Her Auntie’s Husband
What do you think about the scene when the rapist was caught? 🤔 Why did they just let him go like that? Rape is a major crime in Nigeria, that decision didn’t sit well with me (my view).
I loved the scene where she was scrolling through her social media in her room. The reflection from her screen subtly showed that social media is a general marketplace, not just a "Christian" space.
When you believe in constant joy, it fills your heart, and vice versa.

    Random Thoughts
Why did Ẹ̀gbọ́n propose to Mátíldà like that? 🤦🏽‍♂

    But in the end:
Jehovah Raah – He restores and He keeps.

Now, we all have voices playing in our heads and this movie explores how those voices can either affect us positively or negatively. The movie also reinforces an important lesson: There is always a choice. Sometimes, we just choose the easiest way, not the best one

Lastly, I appreciate how they maintained the friendship between Túnmísẹ̀ and David as a supernatural relationship, nothing romantic. The moment I saw David and Túnmísẹ̀ talking, and he was smiling, I knew Ẹ̀gbọ́n was finished… 😂 and I love how he played around the awkward situation when the kids was trying to say the obvious. Even though he waited until the end for a chance, he still respected the fact that she was in a relationship with Ṣégun and didn’t try to force things.

The ending leaves a lot of suspense, maybe something can still happen sha 🤔

  5. Wow this is a lovely piece, am a serving corper posted to a secondary but I left because I don't think I can handle them.

I love this movie for many reason but the fact that, we were not shown where she prays always for the school, but she did a lot for the school because she allowed God.
God bless all the crew of this movie…my girl am proud of you❤❤❤❤@ the main cast
