Sometimes, you just have to try to get into the spotlight! For this list, we’ll be looking at characters in films geared towards …

  1. Sharpay Evans is one of those characters I hated as a kid, but absolutely love as an adult. She has a much deeper character than most stuck up brat archetypes. She definitely earned her spin-off.

  2. Kathryn Merteuil IS the main character. She's villainous but she's not a side character with main character energy. Without her there would be no story, no motive, no movie. Sarah Michelle Gellar's face is the biggest on the poster for "Cruel Intentions". Top billing. Les Liaisons dangereuses / Dangerous Liaisons. Long live the Evil Queen!

  3. Maybe We're The 1st Spiritist* Pop-Metal Or Rock Band In This World 🤔

-> ❤ But Don't Pay Much Attention To Our Neanderthal English, Ha Ha Ha

    *NOTE:

-> Spiritist is who professes Spiritism, the Gospel continuation

It has began with the books by Allan Kardec and continued in the books by Francisco C. Xavier, the greatest and more important medium/prophet of spirits of the last centuries…

  4. Tess from camp rock would be a great main character. She even has an interesting backstory with a mom that neglects her and seemingly no father. Plus she has the best songs.

  5. Regina doesn't have a life of her own. What a mean girl is that a girl doesn't have a life of her own and needs to put people down to make her self better. She going slitch on her minons.

  6. Even some main characters have "Main Character Syndrome" like Rachel Berry from Glee or Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City I love both those characters despite their faults and both of their shows despite their flaws but they both think they are the main characters of their stories they just happened to be right

  7. Most of these characters are far too brutally honest to be main characters. Folks can't handle the truth. It's like Thersites in Shakespeare's Troilus and Cressida. That dude talked shit to everyone equally. He didn't care if an idiot was a king. He simply would tell the king he's an idiot.

  8. "I've been in 17 school productions…what does that tell you?"
…hmmm 4 high school years, 2 plays a year, that means 8 plays at most …sounds like sharpay was held back a couple years. Math ain't mathing

  9. Regina George at the top of the ranks, it was inevitable. After all, her name literally means QUEEN

Could we expect anyone less to rule a high school kingdom with glamour and venom?

  10. Obviously Regina George would win the number 1 spot on the list. Here’s some more teen movie characters with main character energy.
    Gwen Grayson – Sky High
    Luther – The New Guy
Marty Wolf – Big Fat Liar
    Rachel Witchburn – Sydney White
    Pedro Sanchez – Napoleon Dynamite
Malakai – Save the Last Dance
Anita “Needy” Lesnicki – Jennifer’s Body
Henry Dashwood – What a Girl Wants
