I agree with all of the films you picked out, especially Paul,Apostle of Christ! But First Reformed, nah I think anyone in the faith can skip that, your absolutely right it’s definitely a dark film but I couldn’t help but fell like this is more of the world’s take on what Christianity is and subtle/overt imagery throughout the movie that pushes debauchery & giving into one’s struggle. I feel like the film is hinting out a message that I can’t personally see others in the faith being more drawn or firm in Christ.
As for the world, I think it’s a perfect movie for them. It’s suspenseful and thrilling and thought provoking. Ultimately it’s more of you make your own decision and that’s why I couldn’t really recommend it to believers.
