  1. Titheing is 10percent of your income
    In the Jewish culture they were typically farmers and they giving God 10percent of there farm produce now the world has advanced we deal with Currency right now which is money so we now use money

  2. Steeling money from the weak and vulnerable especially when people give to the church making pastor's richer and buying private jets and mansions and taking food off the table of parishioners to feed there children this is WRONG pastor's are thief's to use this money on them selfish self's taking food off my table for my family this is WRONG you are are a thief

  3. Tithing is for members of a church . As members of a church you continue Gods works through your giving . Why wouldnt you want to do that when alot of people want to look to the church for assistance when they are in need but do not belive in giving.

  4. Tithing which there are 3 types, started in the Old Testament & was primarily was in part to help others less fortunate. Jesus mentioned tithing 10% in Matthew 23:23 and Luke 11:42, but he was rebuking the Pharisees for focusing on legalistic tithing while ignoring justice and mercy. He affirmed the practice under the Old Covenant but did not command it as a New Testament requirement. Giving generously with a cheerful heart. Today in the world using the same example the preacher used, a person income is deducted tax at source, so you don’t have 100% to which to give 10% and then there’s fixed cost to pay mortgage, travel, bills, food. I believe Jesus knew this as a rich man can give 10% gross and don’t feel it, compared to the average person who would. I believe it’s important to stick to the scripture and not add to it, for God didn’t make a mistake. Focus on saving the souls

  5. 1 hr = 60 Minutes
    60 = 1 hour
    24 • 60= 1,440 minutes
    1,440 ÷ 10= 144 minutes
    144 minutes = 2 hrs and 24 minutes not 2 hrs and 40 minutes

    Please somebody check my work. Either the late Dr Myles Munroe is wrong or invented new math. Or I'm wrong. We both can't be right. Be like the Bereons in Act 17:11. Thanks!
    Also read Leviticus 27:30-34 concerning the tithe. I don't think anyone is tithing according to the scriptures.

  6. God only expects the Tithe on your "Increase". ("Increase" is something "Over and Above" what you have put into something) Tithing cannot be expected on your "Wages", because Wages are not classed as an "Increase", as your wages are merely an exchange of a Financial Value, for your "Labour Input". ( a simple example is: If you buy a House for $800,000 less expenses of $100,000, and sell it for $1,300,000, then your "Increase" is $400,000, of which your Tithe would be $40,000 , now people: how many of you have Tithed, or are Tithing on the Sale of your House, or Company sale! ). Think about the word "Increase" and you will start to understand the Truthfulness of Tithing. Kind regards to you all.
