My comment is quite different from the others I have read here. I do not see (my) life as a race. I am just living it – there is no hurry. I am not looking for “success.” I have never liked the word. “Winning” carries the same baggage. I don’t have to achieve anything. I live my life for/with myself and others in mind, and that is what I regard as my life. That’s it. I deliberately don’t race because I’ve seen others who do and there is nothing intrinsically valuable about it. It often ends badly. I do not see a requirement to achieve anything except to live with integrity in a genuine, humane manner. The words “race” and “success” are not ones that I am prepared to make any room for as I live, let alone the word “winning.” I am not after a reward. I already have one – it’s my life itself. The best thing about living being a reward is that I have had it my whole life and haven’t had to do anything for it, or anything to prove that I deserve the reward. I find it difficult to engage with this metaphor as others might. There is nothing wrong with it. It doesn’t work for me. I’ve thought about it, but I keep coming back to “that’s not the way things are for me; that’s not how it works.”
In life and I will say it once more know your worth. Be kind esp to the ones that got you r best interest at heart. Judge less. Love more. Listen more ( I slow but I do listen ) most of all see how precious time is live more and omg yes learn and grow and jus be. God gave us much to help us cope and to whom read this. Plant seeds be ok jus be. Namaste love and light and make those bucket list the best thing my dad said was to do something lol. And he said be quiet more and listen and omg media is good. I appreciate everyone in my journey namaste love and light !

While losing obviously sucks, one can lose in such a manner that the winner will never want to face him again; and the loser will have gained from the experience in order to win later.
How many lessons in life are lost, due to preconceived ideas and not by what we learn from life. Much the same as 'we study history, b ut often fail to lean from it. Be inspired by an open mind, ears & eyes and a closed mouth, until knowledge inspires all.
Dont ever treat someone bad when he or she has the courage to look forward simply because others are not so generous as the real winner is if at all it is nothing to do with them
