When a person prays for himself/herself with a heart full of remorse, Faith, and trust, is it more better than the prayer said by another person for one's sake. No one can feel your heart better than you, only God can, so speak to him.
This is so true but in my country, some pastors give a member in the audience a used napkin that he wiped his sweater with. He claims it is 'Gods anointing' smh oh Lord Jesus, please have mercy on them. 😞
He was a true pastor, seeking deliverance from them approves them to be greater than God. By so, many have been knocked down by pride because they start thinking that they are beyond others. However, praying for self brings confidence, peace, hope, faith and spiritual growth
Two months ago l had a dream where a woman was preaching about the Holy Spirit and said that we have trusted men more than God. Pastors have taken the place of God because we feel they are greater than us, neglecting the Holy Spirit, who is our immediate helper, guide, advisor, counsellor etc. The dream was long but when l woke up, l reflected it to the current search of men of God than God Himself and we have ended in more trouble
Some ppl are 'star gazers', looking up to their pastors instead of going to God. This is lack of faith. Ppl tend to weary their ' shepherd' . Exodus 18:17-19 speaks about Jethro giving Moses advise concerning shepherding the flock.
God have mercy, I use to do this a lot.
