I just think it doesn't really tend to come from the clean Hallmark esque Christian movies were used to,and in general I don't really think it's a tool used to promote Christianity like those either. It just takes some influence from the religion into its story telling. Anything with demons,basically, usually has Christian influence. As a Christian, let me just say that I do find it ridiculous when people say that we have it terrible in the US. (We’re not all like that, thank goodness!) it’s a lot easier to actually practice the faith when you’re not complaining about the current state of events, especially because it’s not dangerous or illegal to be Christian here!
i think the funniest part is the villain doesn't even technically kill anyone. the only thing that even hints to him having killed anyone would be the 2 missing guys on the corkboard, but who's to say they just haven't been found yet and won't reconcile and escape? he's not a serial killer, just a really weird kidnapper😭
