I was at a conference not too long ago and THIS song was sung during the service. The songs we select during worship are just …

  1. Guys, I am not against Bethel music. But this particular song is not theologically accurate and I hope you’ll gain better skills at discerning these types of songs so you don’t sing them nor introduce them to your congregation if you are a worship leader.

  2. I love this song , one of my favourite. Let us pray for one another and stop finding fault , look for the good things and give encouragement . I certainly don't like the way christian behaviour , we need to spend that energy and pray

  3. Loved that song, but unfortunately bethel, and many other Christian worship bands, aren't really making biblical songs. So I took their songs off my Playlist. It's sad Christian music isn't biblical and more centered around man, instead of Yahweh.

  4. If we are commissioned to heal the sick, how are we to do so without opening our mouth? Jesus gave us the authority to carry out this commission and it’s through a partnership with God, through our prayer. Again, not sure how this happens without opening our mouth.

  5. This is Biblically sound. At Jericho the walls came down from the shout of the voice. You need to be open to look through a different lens. That is your current truth…. If your open PaPa God will give you a different truth. Your kind of like a hammer at this point and everything is a nail to you. What you seek you will find brother. Look for the demon in everything…. You will find it.
    Shalom!

  6. Bethel and Hillsongs always add a line or two that sounds Christian but is new age. If you’re not really careful or discerning you fall into it. We Christians have forgotten that the Bible tells us that without God we are nothing. We do have some power to resist the devil and it will flee but we don’t have power to destroy the devil, only Jesus can.

  7. I feel so validated by this video. I stop so many times during worship, like, wait… I don’t know that I believe this lyric. Or I don’t think I would articulate maybe what they are saying like this. I struggle with this. I love my church community. We go to a huge church that has such a heart of service.

I know there are many ways to rationalize, but I struggle with songs that talk about me at all during worship.. like Who You Say I am! I don’t like singing about me. I want to sing to God.

  8. We DO have the Authority. Jesus gave it to His disciples..it was His last words to them..to go into the world and heal the sick..caste out demons etc.. Do you think He ONLY gave it to them? We are NOW His disciples..and we have the mantle that was on the disciples to Go & DO!! That did NOT die out when each of them died..it was brought into the world by the Holy Spirit's power..and it is STILL with all who believe today!

  9. I have never heard this song- but I 1000% understand where you are coming from!!!!! I do find that the intended message was very poorly communicated. Now I’m going to go give it a listen myself… and check out the comment section 😅❤ Thank you for sharing!

  10. What you did here is so wrong. You missed the whole point of the song. You should really apologize for this. Your theology needs scriptural updates and your concept of worship as well. Seriously!
We really need to when judging some of these things. The song may not have appealed to your mood at that moment but to say to the world that it's not accurate is way above your grade. Your revelation of who we are as Christians in union and oneness in God is too small. The greatest worship of God is how much of Him is revealed in and through you.
You really missed it with this song.

  11. Allen you need to go back to God's word. In the book of Psalm 82:6 it says " I have said, Ye are gods; And all of you are children of the most High." JESUS CHRIST referenced this very scripture in John 10:34 when he said "…, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

Why would you make us feel any less about the power we have within us. Walls falling doesn't necessarily mean a physical wall just as someone calling out a miracle by the spoken word is also talking about the spirit. Your channel from the look of things strives from more engagement through controversial or thought disturbing arguments..it's totally fine but do well to educate people or yourself properly.

In the bible the walls of Jericho fell down flat through worship. God acted through his children (god's) when they sang praises to Him. The apostles in the new testament called forth things that be not as though they are, we can see that in the accounts of the Acts of the apostles.

Brothers and Sisters ye are gods. Exercise your God given power because there is power in the spoken word.
