It's always those pastors that focus on talking against being gay that are gay. I think it's jealousy for those that are brave enough to be themselves while these pastors are hiding behind a church title.
This video gives me chills because I attended this church for years, even before they moved to the bigger church. I also remember being at a hotel for one of my close friends boyfriends and finding out that the bishop had paid for it. I didn't know Maurice but I did come across him a couple of times in my friend group. Being a adult christian women, I hope this man is burning in hell.

I was a kid/Teen at New Birth- was on the praise team too! I remember one of his sermons being so hateful and homophobic. That was THE day I started deconstructing/ decentering Christianity. It just didn't sit right in my spirit. This came out a few years later.
I met this piece crap years ago. I worked in the spa at Atlantis. I felt what he was, all of my colleagues freaking themselves out over him. I locked eyes with him, and he was the one who looked away. Because I knew he was a nasty liar, I looked past all the bells and whistle.
Eddie was a very wicked man. He had no conscience. He thought he would never be caught. They said they were addicted to the lifestyle. They took all those gifts trips and money then sued him CIVILY, NOT CRIMINALLY. Really strange. They sought MORE money, not CRIMINAL justice.
I “struggled” with my sexuality as a teen and was forced to attend his church. I believe wholeheartedly my family attended that church due to his stance on same sex relationships. They even continued to attend after the allegations, but you know what made them separate? The INVESTMENT scandal lol.
