We can't control the wind, but we can adjust the sails. But in all that, not all plans and dreams will come true, for many reasons. "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps." (Pr 16:9)
This is not a Christian movie at all, the only talk about God in the movie is a prayer at the dinner table towards the end of the movie. Disappointing in that aspect, but otherwise it was a really good movie!
When settlers were traveling west on their horses, they would stop and trade in their horses for others that had been rested. Why don't people research things anymore before making a silly movie?
Where do they live? Because I live in southern NJ and I have been with a black man since 1983. My husband and I don’t let other people dictate our happiness. Only one white old man had the nerve to say anything to me. He didn’t agree with any race marrying another race. It wasn’t just black and white people he was against.
No other white people have EVER said anything negative about me being with a black man.
I have had a few issues from black and Hispanic women over the years. Even women in church. The church women didn’t like me marrying the associate pastor who was black. They wanted to see him marry a black woman. He was looking. None of them were serving the Lord. I was. That’s what mattered to him.
Again, I didn’t let the haters bother me. THEY have the issue, not me. God brought my husband into my life. I had nothing to do with it. He picked him. He wasn’t my “type”. I learned that your “type” isn’t always what is best for you. I trust God and his choice.
So this movie…. I can’t see people letting other people dictate what is good for THEM as far as race is concerned in this day and age.
And this isn’t a Christian movie. Maybe they said so because there was no foul language.
@ 24:00 maybe she thought he was good at basketball because he got a D2 football scholarship… that's what I'd be thinking. Sheesh everybody gets offended way too easy. When I was offered a senior discount at the local burger place, I didn't get offended. I said Yes! Is this just on Thursday or every day? It's senior discount every day there 🎊This 67 year old woman wasn't offended that I look "mature" I was thankful.
Deuteronomy 22:5 – NKJV“A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman's garment, for all who do so arean abomination to the Lord your God.
The real truly christian movie I have seen is Time changer.. I hope movies were like that … Woman and men dressed accordingly, always using the word of God. Etc
Phenomenal movie!! Didn’t need to say God to be Christian. The character of God was permeating through everything. Wholesome and clean—and real-life issues (yes even in 2025). Appreciated everything this movie addressed, especially as a Christian black woman who has a white sister in law.
I like how they supported one another's dreams and it wasn't just one-sided. We have to make our own dreams come true. It's sad and ridiculous that there is still so much racism in this world in this day and age. However, this was not a Christian movie, but it was a nice story about love, accepting one another's differences, hope, and the importance of being determined to achieve your dreams in spite of your critics and skeptics and obstacles.
Don't accept the mountains in your way. They are not giants. They are just grass hoppers, so move them out of your way and never give up!!! Sometimes our faith is too small. Let your faith be bigger than your fears.
Good morals, went through difficult times, spoke truth, and stayed together as a family and became a mixed family that truly loves like Christ. I believe this is a wonderful Christian movie. It was truly inspiring, and I soooo enjoyed it . ❤❤❤😊
He says “I Believe in you, I really do,” and then she plants a kiss right on his lips, practically throwing herself into his arms.
All anyone ever really truly wants is unconditionally love and someone to understand and believes in their dreams with them. And encourages them to go after whatever dreams they have. Because going after our dreams is worth it, so long as it makes an impact.
Ugh
Ridiculous how they try to manipulate through movies 😂😂😂😂😂
Hi everyone! 🐴
Sorry for the audio issues yesterday! 🔇
What are your plans for the Labor Day weekend? 😄
We hope you enjoy the movie! 📽

Love 💕 it🙏👍
Well, great movie on real life situations. But, I would have never guessed it's a Christian movie.
It’s not really a Christian movie but still is clean and wholesome.
