When Jesus spoke of a faith as small as a mustard seed, this thief on the cross had faith and it is really a marvel to have faith in the crucified Lord, trusting that He is able to bring him to His kingdom. Oh that the Lord give us grace to trust Him even in this troubled world, and to have such faith as this blessed thief.
No person in the Bible has ever had more assumptions made about him and doctrines created as the thief on the cross. I’m glad he was saved but by focusing on this one event, men have denied the other things that God said to do to fulfill righteousness.
