  1. In our last video, we looked at the sword giving act of the archbishop Nicholas Duncan williams to Pastor Jerry EZE and Apostle Joshua Selma and what Dr. Damina said about it…

Now watching the video and observing some of the comments, it looks like the impression many got from the video was the idea that giving out swords in church was not problematic and that we condone the act,

that is not what we sought to pass across, so let’s delve into the doctrinal position of giving out swords and miracle items in the charismatic and prophetic church in Africa today. They fall under syncretism

  2. @PastorGideonCBoateng, the first and major sign of syncretism in today's Christianity is the division of the church, the body of Christ, into clergy and laity. In the church which Christ founded, all the saints were members of one body – there was no distinction of clergymen (professional ministers) and laity (the common people). 1 Cor 12:25 says, "that there should be no schism (division) in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another." The dividing of Christians into clergy and laity is a mixture, a carryover from Judaism, where the Levites and priests were a different and higher class of Jews from their brethren. They alone, as clergymen were ordained to serve or minister in the holy things. There brethren were lay people. However, in the new testament, Peter wrote, "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:" (1 Peter 2:9 KJV). John also wrote in Revelation that Christ "… hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen." (Revelation 1:6 KJV
). So, we see clearly that in the new testament, all members of the Body of Christ are called to be kings and priests unto God and we have one High Priest who is also the King of kings.
The church is the body of Christ, and just as in the human body, there are many members (or, parts) and each member has a unique function for the body, so also are the saints in the church. That means, each member is called and ordained to function in ministering something of Christ to the body. Despite the differences in function, they are one in life and nature. There is division (schism) in the body. The differences in function of the different members of the Body of Christ should not result in a division of the saints into clergy and laity. That is the first syncretism that we must all repent of and come out from!
Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

    1 Corinthians 12:27‭-‬28 KJV

  4. Why Christians demean themselves? Don’t we know we are gods ? What is wrong with using a spiritual token? Who knows the revelation behind the sword? How about Paul’s handkerchief and apron that healed the sick? God is Almighty but He’s given us power so what are we doing with the power?. My friends when men serve God well, He honor them so their words carry weight. As a matter of fact when I meet one of those generals I would ask for their flying ties and their Shoes. We believe in Jesus Christ 1000% tho
