2:05:15 tonight by the grace of God I want to show you greater light for glory 2:19:00 pray for what is lacking in your life 2:38:00 I am speaking on the spiritual man About 2:45:00 who is a natural& a carnal man 2:50:00 who is a spiritual man 2:54:00 what next after salvation : the minister of the Holy Spirit, …the Word,…a teaching Priest 3:07:00 there are four features that proves you are a spiritual man
From a spiritual standpoint there are 3 kinds of men: 1- The Natural man: that man has not encountered Jesus, is not saved. He’s not in Christ. A Natural man can have things, but he’s not saved. 1Corinthians 2:14
2- the carnal man: 1 Corinthians 3:1. Is a man who is saved but is not willing to grow. Too charnel. He’s the one who is carnally minded( is a pathway that lead to dead). Always in arguments to spiritual things. Not contending to transformation.
3- Spiritual man: is one who is saved. Who are submitted himself to transformation by the word of God. He’s the one who is spiritually minded. He’s obedient to the word of God.
How does Natural Man become a Carnal? It’s by encountering Jesus. Reading the Bible does not make you save.
The moment you get saved, the next thing is to encounter this 3 things: – [ ] The ministry of the Holy Spirit. – [ ] That person needs to be introduced to the ministry of the word of God. – [ ] Then, need to be introduced to the ministry of a teaching priest.( teach to that person the value of prayer).
*When God begun to work with us, he gives us a little assignment( he can say go to school preach to 20-30 people).
There are 4 features in a Spiritual Man:
1- your affection/ your heart.
your affection must be on God things. Colossians 3:2 When you become a spiritual person, things you want will not be above your love for Jesus. God becomes our highest desire. Nothing or no one can take the place of God in our heart. There are idols that the spirit of God has to take away. This process is possible by the death( only God above all. The ultimate desire) this is truly the way of power. Proverbs 23:26 We don’t assume spirituality. There’s a pathway. It’s the way of death.
How people die in the spirit? The death that brings glory: When you reflect the Christ, in the degree that nothing nothings else matters, but he genuine love. The more the process of dethroning (death) happens, the more you become spiritual. You know at this point that if God make a demand to you, you just say yes Sir( by saying God this so and that belongs to you).
After this sermon God will allow us to be spiritual. He’ll give instructions to follow to reach that stage. There’s a path to greater results, greater glory. The generation that refuse to die, is the generation that will be powerless. There are idols that need to died for Jesus to take place.
“I cry before God that nothing can take the place of my love for him. Father take everything. Be everything. Do everything ohh God. Make to idols fall”.
2- the second feature is your mentality. A mentality that is spiritually minded through word based transformation You see things as Gospel sees it. You are as spiritually minded as your submission to the word of Gospel. Your first response to things, is as the word of God. The way you respond, as a word of God demand. The way you gives, as the word of God demand.
How does a spiritual man behave at the day of trouble? By prayer, by going to the place of prayer.
When you want to be transformed, don’t do selective transformation. Submit yourself to a complete transformation. Job 22:29
To be spiritual, is to be word compliant. I believe that there is no Land God send me that will be too hard” I believe “ You heard a report that is not good, go to Genesis 1:3( let it be light).
*The spiritual about your organization, not fanatical. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word( Matthew 4:4).
3- Third feature: Submitted to the leadership of the spirit. Genesis 1:1 The Holy Spirit according to the scripture is God Acts 10:38 Holy Spirit has 3 assignments – [ ] The first assignment of the Holy Spirit is life giving forms.
– [ ] The word of unbelievers ( it takes the spirit of God to move the unbeliever to Jesus). – [ ] John 16:13. Is to believers. The Holy Spirit activate his organ. The Holy Spirit is responsible for guidance and direction. Direction focuses on the destination. Guidance focuses on the steps that will take you to direction.
The Holy Spirit is responsible for empowerment. Acts 1:8.
What does is means to be led to the spirit? It means to be submit to the wisdom spirit. To submit to the guidance of the Spirit. To submit to the leadership of the Spirit. John 21:18 When you become a spiritual man , even though you want to go to one way, the love of God, the spirit of God will take place, will control you. When of the way you know the Holy Spirit is talking, your flesh will fight you.
“Example of Apostle following the Holy Spirit when asked to put his video on internet. God himself announced him to the world”.
“Allow the Holy Spirit to direct us, let see the result”
4- the last feature is your passion to obey the speaking of God. Deuteronomy 28:1
The highest level of obedience, is the obedience unto death . Philippians 2:9 Obedience is not all convenience. -There is also Love. The singular description of love is God. Proverbs 3:7 Even there is an unloveable man, just remember what Jesus did for us. “I walk in love as a choice” You can be a spiritual man and block the way because of bitterness, envy, jalousie. The love must be shared abroad. Agape= undeserving love. Truly faith works by Love(both love for God and love for man). 1 John 4:7 Setting your affection to the things of God, that your heart is completely sold out to his purposes, and then to remaining Spiritually minded by engaging the word of God for your transformation. Obtaining grace from God to be obedient to everything he tells you to do, and then to walk in love.
“ Make sure that the ministry of love and the ministry of prayer never leaves your life” We must pray everyday, this is how spiritual man live
