So glad your Mother was there for you. My MOTHER needed a hero herself. My life was messed up from age 18. So funny wasn't from drugs or alcohol. I needed guidance with relationships. I married someone I didn't love because I loved my Mother so much. It caused me dysfunction my whole life.
