    I missed the live presentation of the story, but boy oh boy, what a powerful and inspring testimony. I met his grandson, dr.   9. I literally just finished this book today with my 7 year old daughter for our homeschool history lesson!! What timing! And what an amazing story of Gods faithfulness when we are faithful. Highly recommend this book and reading it with our children for the times ahead

  15. I remember being a little girl when my great grandfather told me stories when he was drafted in 1st and 2nd WWII. He was faithful, prayed constantly that his bullets would not touch anyone. He was a prisoner of war in Sicily Italy where he stayed there until they war was done. I will never forget how he prayed that his bullets wont kill anyone.
